Hello all. I have Scenic as in the subject. I will briefly describe the history of the problem.
The car was in a commission shop abroad, it did not start, mileage 126 thousand. km, 2003 After a week, the car started firing, so I bought it. It's back home, everything is fine. After cleaning, I wanted to move the car, but unfortunately the engine didn't start anymore. I read a lot of topics related to it on the Internet, but I did not find a solution. The immo is rather off because the diode behaves properly. LEERLAUF EINLEGEN appears in the display. The spark is there, the fuel is supplied, the fuses and relays are checked, the shaft position sensor has been replaced, the battery has been replaced. It turns nice but does not start. After connecting to the computer, there was a temperature sensor error, but it did not occur after it was deleted. Is there anything else to check before starting the timing?

Hello. Have you tried to start the engine in neutral with the brake pressed? You probably have a problem with the sensor on the clutch pedal.

I tried, it does not start. I'm just wondering that if it was the sensor you are writing about, I don't know if it would spin on the clutch pressed. After pressing the clutch, it turns nicely but does not start.

Just because he delivers fuel does not mean that it is under the correct pressure. And there is also the issue of the temperature sensor, you would have to check whether it shows the temperature adequate to the ambient temperature in the current parameters.

But there are probably 2 sensors. And one is with 3 pin. And that's what I mean.

And see if sometimes water appears in the candles instead of fuel. I have met several times with this case.

when it comes to the temperature that the sensor shows, it shows the ambient temperature. I haven't looked too much behind the other sensor but it's in the same place as in the old 2-pin model. Today I will check this sensor because only this sensor error was saved.
But I suspect that it is as my colleague PITERRR wrote, because he is constantly "shaking" about setting the idle speed. So you also have to look into this sensor. In fact, I haven't tried the self-start yet, but there will be time for that.

As for the sensor, it is my mistake, it is 3 pins, not 2. After switching to 100% good. no change. There are two sensors on the clutch pedal. One is above the clutch pedal, after pressing the clutch, the pin from the sensor comes out, after releasing the clutch, the pedal presses the pin. I took out the sensor and checked it and it works properly, after pressing the pin it closes the circuit and after leaving the circuit is broken.
The second sensor is like next to the clutch pedal, but it works properly because without pressing the clutch, the starter will not start. I tried to fire even with the first sensor unplugged to check the second one and it did not spin without pressing the clutch.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2003 Renault Scenic II 1.6 that is experiencing starting issues despite having a functioning ignition system, fuel supply, and spark. The owner reports that the car initially started after being purchased but failed to start again after cleaning. Various components have been checked or replaced, including the battery and shaft position sensor. The owner suspects a potential issue with the temperature sensor, as an error was noted but cleared. Suggestions from other users include checking the fuel pressure, verifying the functionality of the clutch pedal sensors, and ensuring no water is present in the spark plugs. The owner plans to further investigate the temperature sensor and clutch pedal sensors.
