LG K8 (K350NDS) - New display after replacement does not work

I have a problem with my LG K8 (K350NDS). I flooded it some time ago, then it was dried and unscrewed. In any case, there were water stains on the motherboard. I cleaned all the contacts with spirit. However, the display did not work - the touch did not work and there were permanent vertical stripes on the display (as in the photo below). I went through a few services and they told me everywhere that the display must be replaced. So I ordered a new one (knowing it was a bit of a risk as the phone was flooded and you don't know what else broke). And after connecting the new one, there are no more vertical stripes on it, but the touch still does not work. What do you think could be broken? Is the entire motherboard, the contacts burned out, or maybe the display came defective? If I bought a used motherboard for this model and connected it to the new display, would such a "folding" work? Thanks for all the answers.

Look for a new motherboard. It is possible to diagnose a fault, but it will be time-consuming, and you are still not sure that there will be no further failures in the near future. Greetings!

The disc looks decently cleaned. It is possible that the set you have purchased is defective. You would have to replace it with another one.

The price offered by the website is probably the price including assembly. Original LCDs are also made in China, and the comparison is the same as you can buy a kilogram of something in a Polish store for a price of x and buy a kilogram of something the same for a higher price. Read carefully the listing descriptions of these cheap LCDs (what delivery time, and buyers' feedback on what condition it comes in and how it works).

So in general, I can get the same display - Chinese or "more Chinese" - from this conclusion there is no rule. Only the price is different.
