Hello. I have a problem with the display, the point is that the shadows of the previous open items remain, icons and so on. The phone is after replacing the screen and touch, but unfortunately it was flooded, the guy in the service said it was the fault of flooding, it seems to me that it is the fault of the display itself, not the motherboard. Can someone guide me what to do with this guy? Send it to another site or it has to stay that way? Screenshots are coming out normally, which is how it should be.

It was flooded before replacing the screen and the touch works without a problem.
    Regards

If it looks like this, the LCD is probably burned out

Probably a poor quality LCD. This can be found in cheap phones.

It looks exactly the same to me. only that what turns on stays glow whether it's YT or browser everything stays ... the display is like a new original lg at least that's what I was told ... phone received yesterday from repair ...

so it's definitely not the fault of the motherboard, but the display made in china ...

It turns out that the fault lies in the display, however, since you have the same symptoms.
If the phone was flooded before, did they do something with it in the service? Did they even clean the motherboard? Did they just replace the display itself?

I'm not saying that your phone is cheap, I suggested that such quality displays are factory installed in cheap phones. Try to return it to the service center and don't let it get you down.

The service guy insisted that it was the motherboard's fault, something with the contacts after flooding ... but it's good to know that you have the same symptoms, so I'll gladly show him this picture if I can of course ... I paid 400 for the repair ...

I just gave an example photo from a burned-out display (such things usually happen in post-exhibition phones that have one and the same application running all the time)
    I will ask again
Did they at least clean the motherboard? Did they just replace the display itself?

If they didn't clean it from moisture, maybe just do it and the problem will disappear. Since they gave a new display, such things should not happen. I wonder if they have a different motherboard from such a phone then it would be enough to make a display spacer and it would be known at least where the problem is, whether on the board or on the display.

before the phone broke down, it was angry and worked without a problem, it seems to me that it may be the fault of the poor quality display itself, he asked me what the replacement display should be or the original replacement cost about 250 org. 350 of course I wanted the original. As for the album itself, I'm not convinced because he didn't do it in front of me, I picked up the phone 4 days later...

I also noticed that when I move the phone or scroll the image, the letters blur as if they were shaking ... The second thing if it was the fault of the disc, then when taking a screenshot, such stripes would also be there, but they are not there ...

The code works thanks. Screen test first FAIL I can't see anything, I can only see what was turned on, I'll take a picture for you and you'll see what it looks like. The second white screen is supposed to be and is passed.

If you have any fails when testing the display in this menu, in my opinion you have proof that there is something wrong with the display.

You should take it back to the service and if you have a receipt from this exchange, they should accept it, since you have errors in this menu, it must be the fault of the display.

So I will do tomorrow and whether it is fail or pass, I have to press it myself, but as you can see, I can't see anything except for the last activities ... The tests I did look nice on the display (clearance) one overlaps the other ... I'll let you know tomorrow if will replace it with a new one or whatever, if not, 400 went to hell ... Thanks a lot for your help.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a problem with the LG G4 Stylus display, where shadows of previous activities and icons persist on the screen. The user suspects the issue may stem from a poor-quality replacement display after the phone was flooded, despite the service center claiming the motherboard is at fault. Responses suggest that the display may be burned out or of low quality, and emphasize the importance of checking if the motherboard was properly cleaned after the flooding. A hidden service menu test indicated display failures, reinforcing the likelihood of a display issue. The user plans to return to the service center for further action based on the test results.
