    Hello all,
I am not a professional but a layman. I bought an unlimited internet in T-mobile with a huawei b529 router. . At the moment I have bought a package up to 60Mbps. I live in a village near the town where the transmitter is located. I think it is a distance of 5-6km no more. Will buying a directional or room antenna for this router improve anything? If so, please advise which antenna to buy?

My achievements on a given frequency are as follows:

You are close to the BTS LTE800 T-mobile Borki, correct LTE signal parameters, average speeds, BTS loaded. LTE1800 is BTS NetWorks Słupiec, Krasicki. Signal sufficient, speeds even good for these parameters. No LTE1800 + 800 aggregation in this area. On LTE2600 it is BTS Słupca, Traugutta 7B, very poor signal parameters and hence slow. Also LTE1800 and probably LTE2600 + 1800 on this BTs. Force this aggregation and show screen.

This is what it looks like LTE 4G 2600 + 1800. I haven't even seen that there is a t-mobile antenna on the borki. On the map as a test it is an Orange antenna and I have a lot closer to it than to Słupca. Is there any point in installing an antenna on the roof to improve reception speed? If so, how will you help me here, because I have no idea and there is a lot of it on the market.

    I warmly welcome,

I live in the town of Orzesze Zgoń on the border of 3 transmitters. A local provider with a fiber optic cable regularly crashes so I decided to test the solution with T-MOBILE.

While placing the box in the window causes the appearance of LTE 1/5 (range lines on the modem), the same speeds do not knock (15Mbit / DL:

HManager installation on an Android phone http://www.mediafire.com/file/99t05l2dv6vany8/Huawei_Manager_1.1_PL.apk and tests of LTE1800 and LTE800 bands and LTE1800 + 800 aggregation. You show screenshots from them, you do speedtests. LTE1800NetWorks and LTE800 T-Mobile operate on Centralna, LTE800 in Gostyń. Given the terrain, forests are rather the choice for LTE800 and the antenna for this band.

OK thanks. I share home today with this topic. As for anger 100m from the house in every direction I have full LTE coverage ... but in the place where the houses stand there is a desert ...

I will test with the attached program and paste.

    Ok, I tested it.

Thanks for the link to the program. Actually, you were right - on the one hand, seeing GOSTYŃ works LTE800 and allows you to use max bandwidth from TMobile (I have 20DL).

In real life it looks like this

And transfers on this (the same are as soon as I choose LTE800):

The right frequency column is offline at all.

Turning two on at once (you seem to call it aggregation) doesn't give you visible improvement. Transfers are going smoothly - although this morning there was hiccups for 15 minutes and practically nothing worked.

The program shows such information about the visible mast:

The router set in the window - at a height of 1p. Without external antenna

What does it look like from your point of view?
How would you rate the BTS load?

I am still struggling with my thoughts whether to replace the optical fiber at home with T-Mobile ... except that the mobile and noticeably faster faster WWW (maybe some more cache), but I'm afraid that with time the capacity of BTS will end.

    Thanks for the opinion.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around improving the T-Mobile 60Mbps internet connection using a Huawei B529 router in a rural area approximately 5-6 km from the nearest transmitter. Users analyze the LTE signal parameters, noting that while LTE800 and LTE1800 provide sufficient speeds, LTE2600 shows poor performance. Recommendations include testing with directional or external antennas to enhance reception, particularly for LTE800, which is more effective in forested terrains. Users share experiences with signal strength and speed tests, indicating that while aggregation of LTE bands does not yield significant improvements, proper antenna placement may enhance connectivity.
