    Hello all
The case concerns the Skoda Octavia 2 2006 1.9 TDI.
I have a problem because the ventilation blower has stopped working.
The fuse was blown, after reading several similar threads in the forum before replacing the fuse with a new one, I bought a resistor and replaced it.
I installed a new fuse and nothing else.
    Generally it looks like this.
I turn on the first gear of the air supply and I hear that something in the board makes some sounds, as if the latches are going.
    Second gear nothing.
    Third gear nothing
The fourth gear does not work either and after a second the fuse blows.

In several threads on the forum I read that it works at low gears and at 4 the fuse crashes. It doesn't work for me at all. I looked at YouTube and it looks like the replacement / cleaning of the blower and it doesn't seem complicated to me.
I will probably have to connect to the computer, but maybe here I can get some suggestions as to the reason.
Could it be a blown fan? And if so, is there any point in cleaning?
I will be grateful for any suggestion of people who have encountered a similar fault.

As for me, the computer misses the target but you can go.
You have to get to the blower, I bet on its blurring or blocking by something that fell into it.

I am also in favor of checking the blower for a short time, but also the cubes from the resistor - they like to oxidize and when the contact is weak the fuse and the resistor burn. I had a similar problem in scenic 2

    Hello
The reason was a faulty blower - it fell completely. After removing, it turned out that you need a lot of strength to make a rotation with the blower.
After replacement, everything returned to normal, I even noticed that it works more efficiently and quietly than before the old one before the failure.
So, if someone feels the louder operation of the fan and a decrease in its efficiency, it may turn out that it will fall quite soon :)
    So I'm closing the topic.
