The transmission does not work. The electric motor does not start. There is communication. Error code U3000. Any suggestions for repair?

probably the battery, charging, voltage drops on masses and thick power supply to the ironing board have you checked?
I used to have the Focus MK3, but I gave the car because it showed everything about the driver, which is all maglow, and I was not 100% sure. Now I see these mangers a little cheaper, for PLN 400 they are already alledrogo

We connected an external power steering tester with a separate battery. Errors can be cleared. The 3000 appears when the steering wheel is moving, when the engine should start. The parameters are OK. Looks like the driver is damaged. I was hoping someone tried to fix it.

If the steering angle sensor works, it can be seen in the ABS system, it works reliably. Maybe it measures / calculates the turning moment incorrectly.
If something happened to the power-assist engine, it would probably, like in the older micra, throw out the engine error.
I bet on some internal error, maybe the soft spill out, but it's not so good to get another one from here.

Would the sensor error be visible if the angle sensor malfunctions?
From previous experience with Ford (Smax) U3000 it is rather damage to electronics, e.g. engine control.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Ford Cmax II experiencing a U3000 error code, indicating issues with the transmission and electric motor in the steering gear. Users suggest checking the battery, voltage drops, and connections, particularly the two-pin plug and thick cables. The steering angle sensor (SAS) is highlighted as a potential culprit, as it communicates with the power steering module. An external power steering tester was used, revealing that the error appears when the steering wheel is moved, suggesting possible driver damage. Concerns about the electropump motor's functionality and internal electronic errors are also raised, indicating a need for further diagnostics and potential component replacement.
