Hello, I mounted the radio on the android. Everything works beautifully, except turning off the radio. After turning the key on, the power comes on and the radio turns on. After switching off the ignition, the radio switches off. Everything is nice, only there is no standby mode and each time the radio switches on again, which takes about 30 seconds and does not start the last application, but starts from the main screen. When I turn the radio off with the Power button, the radio goes into standby mode, after re-pressing it, it quickly returns to the action from before switching off. But how do you do that the standby mode is for some time without a key? After bridging 12v and vcc everything is OK, the radio works quickly and without a key, but after 3 days of not using the car the battery has no voltage ... Has anyone encountered such a problem? greetings

It turns out that you have swapped backup cables with plus after ignition.

So instead of yellow, it's red, and red is yellow, right?

So plug it in, if both are pluses, then you do not risk anything.

You risk - unloading aku. Stations with andek in the standby mode do not charge much, but as you can see, there is so much electricity that you have been unloaded by aku for 3 days. In devices with andek, unfortunately, there is no standby you want. Simply put - either the device is walking and it is charging or it is not charging or running for a long time. The fact that you turn off the radio button is actually turning them off into the stanby mode which just unloaded you aku. Also, a friend writes you stupid with the color change of the cables - you are hooked as it should be. If you had a bad connection - the radio would not remember the station and other programmed things (EQ, steering wheel control, etc.).

Hello, I will connect to the question. The situation is the same as in the case of a colleague - a discharged battery after 3 days in the Passat B6. Reason: the cable from the ignition is still voltage or the key is inserted or not. That's why the radio does not turn off when we turn off the car and pull out the key. Is there any factory jumper or where is it set to disconnect the voltage on this wire? At the factory radio, the operation is switched off. Maybe the signal from the ignition goes from the steering wheel to the ankle.

There is no jumper, nothing is set, the factory radio is digitally controlled via the CAN network, exchanging the radio you should mount a dedicated replacement or use a CAN emulator.

    Yes, yes.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with an Android 2DIN radio not entering standby mode after the ignition is turned off, leading to battery drain. Users suggest that the problem may stem from incorrect wiring of the backup and ignition cables, specifically swapping the yellow and red wires. It is noted that the radio does not have a true standby mode, causing battery depletion if left connected without the vehicle being used for several days. One user inquires about a factory jumper or setting to disconnect voltage when the ignition is off, but it is clarified that factory radios operate via CAN network control, and a dedicated replacement or CAN emulator may be necessary for proper functionality.
