Hello.Auto as above. Current consumption 0.8 A. We removed fuses and relays under the hood and in the cabin on both sides of the board without changes. We disconnected the alternator, ABS pump, engine controller, alarm siren, radio, all main cubes in the door, flap motor rear and wiper, rear calipers and nothing. The only culprit who conquered consumption to even 3 A was the lamp near the mirror. After its removal it decreased to 0.8 A. What else can we check? The strap has no webasto and xenon.

Check that the driver's legs in the body control module (under the rug) are free of moisture. There most often a problem occurs.

Do vcds diagnostics and see if there are errors and in what module. Perhaps the matter of power consumption will be clarified faster. I had the situation like yours after changing the radio to a higher model and I had to replace the getway because the radio did not go to sleep and took about 0.8A

Check electric heaters as you have.
In the engine compartment near the fuse box, 100 amp fuse (blue), unscrew the cable.
At least that's how it is with me.
I also had this problem and it turned out to be a heater.

A friend gave the car to an electrician and I could not check it. Unfortunately, he did not want to say what the reason was. We suspect that it could be a heater because we did not move those fuses that are screwed to the box. The radio also went to exchange because it turned out that from time to time it also showed a power consumption which we did not find the first time. Thank you for your help

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a battery drain issue in a Passat B6 2.0 TDI PD 140 HP, where the current consumption is measured at 0.8 A. Despite extensive checks, including the removal of various fuses and disconnection of components like the alternator, ABS pump, and radio, the problem persists. A lamp near the mirror was identified as a significant contributor to the drain, but further investigation is needed. Suggestions from participants include checking the alternator, clipboard lighting, moisture in the body control module, central locking system, and performing VCDS diagnostics to identify errors. A previous experience with a similar issue pointed to a faulty radio and electric heaters as potential causes.
