Hello, probably the topic has already been somewhere, namely, I need help and the answer to the question of how to connect the factory radio in my audi specifically refers to the back and subwoofer speakers and the changer in the clipboard
Once someone had an ordinary radio set, I want to go back to the fab. in my opinion there is no half of the cables and cubes there are small remains tell me what an ankle or adapter should I buy to somehow run the speakers behind and the changer inserts the photo pins
I will add that the radio turns on the game but it weakly pulls the waves fm I have such a radio:

and Connection of factory radio audi a4 b7 avant subwoofer and speakers Connection of factory radio audi a4 b7 avant subwoofer and speakers

    What should I combine it

And what do you have for the misz you have?
Power cube and speakers have ISO as in older cars, eg. B5, B6 and in your hand you hold additional cubes from ISO2 which should be in B7. Zagreb deeper, or there is no adapter somewhere (characteristic descriptions on the cables) from ISO2 to ISO or CAN module or vice versa. If you have a somewhere deeper adapter from ISO2 to ISO, then the easiest way will be to change your symphony II (with iso) to symphony II + (with iso2, as is GPS and color fis it might have been mmi). The radio may not work well for you, because as there is an adapter there is a so-called by the sellers, the balun attaches the maximum voltage to the antenna and clogs the head or you have a damaged antenna (sometimes the pin itself in the fakra is broken). If you do not find the adapter for the cables to be assembled, then you'll have to cross the entire installation, including undressing the rear door and restoring to the original. There should be a diversity antenna. Without much insight in the car, it is the fortune-telling of people who have done something there.

Colleagues I'm at home, I add some photos to my mother, Audi a4 b 7 2006

The first one looks like this:

    Then some cube crossing:

And at the end he enters the radio:

    And the radio itself:

What should I do to change it to make it all play
I bought this car in such an audio state as in the subject, so I do not know where to start yet I have a four-armed steering wheel and the control of the radio on the VAG is not working is a failure of communication with the radio

Apparently you have an inappropriate radio, check what's supposed to be there after vin.
Because it's like the radio was from b6.

It's not bad, you do not have a cut installation ;-) If on this radio what you have now do NOT work on your rear speakers it is already quite well, i.e. there is a chance that no one has fumbled in the installation in the doorways and the wheelills. Watch the double antenna fakra connector, after its layout I think you should have radio concert III on board (or rns, mmi, check the presence of modules in the rear left wheel arch, closed compartment, and the knife fork is a changer, tv tuner or dab .. it is not known). The connector should not have any protruding cables (it is suggested by a photo and a red cable that looks like a connector connected to it).
Just like a colleague wrote the check in the equipment codes what the radio was in the original (three digital codes, the back plate is in the spare wheel compartment and of course in the service book eventually get information after vin), purchase appropriate and sell it (the best and the cheapest solution).

    Can be.

Search for fakra - iso audi but full fakra - iso + antenna reduction.

You have a symphony radio can approach it.

If you want to leave this radio stubbornly, then you need an adapter between those marked in red. It does not guarantee that the changer in the glove compartment, the possible steering wheel control and the correct radio antenna will work, but the active subwoofer + so many speakers should start playing.

In your place I would look for a concert radio ii + (concert 3 iso2 2din).

Thank you for the information so far as I will have time, I will look for this radio on the backs or auctions because with this pass will probably be a small problem in the last resort maybe some electrician will help me to connect it to the scheme I do not know if it is possible but you can try

The symphony radio was not originally assembled in a4 b7? I bought such a car with this radio and operate all speakers, subwoofer and information displays on FIS. I once read that the b7 version of the 1.9 engine has older electronics than in 2.0. I have 1.9.
    greetings :)

It was mounted in B7, only symphony II + (with iso2) where instead of the cassette there is a built-in changer for 6 discs and the changer is missing from the changer. The author of the topic stressed that he wants to restore the factory solution. Since there is a changer in the clipboard, there was hardly any symphony. From the electrical and technical side, the B7 audi is only a rebuilt B6, the differences are in appearance and equipment, hence the shortened production period of both models (as for those times audi). The radio, which was purchased by the author of the theme, with this panel may appear in several versions, most of them under the can but it seems to me that you can still get under the old fis. During the transitional period of introducing can to all audi models in different periods on different continents, there is a lot of confusion with the selection of the originally installed radio in the vehicle.

After all, the colleague wrote, it is not easier. Search for the concept - AUDI ISO ISO2, do not forget about the antenna.

What do you want to do, cut cables and solder to the radio? After all, if you want to cut and rework installations you need cubes for this radio what you bought, and if you need cubes, buy a ready adapter. The difference in the price of the material will be symbolic between 10 and even 20 PLN and in the course of half a day's work and if something does not go a few days.

No, you already have one. You need a full one that will be supplemented with these free 2 rectangles with a blue and green car and one that will adopt these rectangles for another connector made of three parts, yellow, blue and green from what I remember. In addition, you will probably need to additionally modify it as in the links that I posted because half of the things will not work. You can do it and it's the same car, but it's sometimes a road through torment. Really, believe me, if you do not have a clue about it, it will be faster and several times easier to get rid of this radio and buy the right one.

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around connecting the factory radio in an Audi A4 B7 Avant to the rear speakers and subwoofer. The user seeks guidance on the necessary adapters and wiring to restore functionality to the audio system, which currently only powers the front speakers. Various responses suggest checking for the correct radio model, using ISO and ISO2 adapters, and ensuring proper antenna connections. Recommendations include potentially replacing the current radio with a Symphony II+ or Concert III to ensure compatibility with the vehicle's wiring and features. The importance of verifying the original equipment codes via VIN is also emphasized to avoid installation issues.

FAQ

TL;DR: On A4 B7, rear speakers/sub stay silent if you mix ISO (B6) with ISO2 (B7); Symphony II+ has a "built-in changer for 6 discs." [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16846987]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps Audi A4 B7 owners restore full factory audio—rear channels, sub, antenna, and controls—without chasing the wrong parts.

Quick-Facts

Quick Facts

How do I get my rear speakers and subwoofer working again on an A4 B7?

Use a full ISO2 adapter between car and radio. It carries the rear amp/sub signals. With the proper harness, the active sub and rear speakers start playing. If you keep the current ISO radio, expect limited function without rewiring. "Adapter between those marked in red" solved it for the thread author. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16796765]

Which factory radio actually belongs in a 2006 A4 B7?

B7 favors ISO2 units like Concert II+/III or Symphony II+. Verify via equipment codes or VIN. If your car has glovebox changer wiring, Symphony II+ is less likely, because it has an internal 6‑disc. Check rear-left arch for additional modules, too. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16795534]

How can I tell if my harness is ISO2/Fakra?

Look for a dual Fakra antenna plug and multi-block connectors behind the radio. That layout points to ISO2-era Concert III/Symphony II+. If only the front speakers work with your current unit, you likely mismatched ISO vs ISO2. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16795534]

Do I need an adapter if I insist on keeping an older ISO Symphony II?

Yes. Search for an Audi ISO↔ISO2 adapter and an antenna reducer. Plan extra pin-out tweaks for features like changer or controls. It’s quicker to fit the right ISO2 radio than to rework the loom. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16875028]

Will a partial adapter fix it?

No. A partial loom leaves rear audio dead. You need the full adapter that fills the blue and green cavities and converts to the three-piece yellow/blue/green block. Even then, some functions may still need modification. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16875190]

My FM reception is weak—what should I check?

Inspect the antenna path first. The wrong "balun" adapter can overdrive the tuner. Also check for a broken center pin in the Fakra plug and verify the diversity antenna feed. Replace the adapter with a correct Fakra unit. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16790515]

Will the glovebox CD changer work with Symphony II+?

No. Symphony II+ includes a 6‑disc internal changer, so the glovebox changer is typically absent or unused. Seeing a glovebox changer suggests a different head unit originally, like Concert with external changer support. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16846987]

What’s the easiest factory-correct solution overall?

Install an ISO2-native head unit that matches your harness (Concert II+/III or Symphony II+). This avoids splicing, restores rear channels, and supports factory modules. It’s the recommended path from experienced installers in the thread. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16795534]

How can I confirm what my car had from the factory if the trunk sticker is missing?

Check equipment codes in the service book, or ask by VIN. Also inspect the rear-left wheel arch compartment for modules (changer, TV, DAB). Their presence hints at the original radio type. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16795534]

What is the CAN bus and why does it matter for the radio?

CAN bus is the car’s data network that carries control signals. B7 uses CAN-integrated radios; mismatched radios or adapters can break features like controls or power management. Use an ISO2/CAN-correct unit or a proper interface. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16790515]

Will steering-wheel controls and FIS still work if I change radios?

They can, when the radio matches the car’s CAN and ISO2 wiring. One B7 1.9 TDI owner reports all speakers, sub, and FIS info working on their Symphony setup. Results vary with electronics version. [Elektroda, henryxxl, post #16824033]

Could my current radio be from a B6? Does that matter?

Yes. If only the fronts play and connectors don’t match, you’re likely running a B6-era ISO unit. In a B7 ISO2 car, that’s the wrong match. Fit the proper ISO2 radio or use the full adapter set. [Elektroda, Strumien swiadomosci swia, post #16793409]

Quick how-to: restore factory audio on an A4 B7

  1. Inspect behind the radio for dual Fakra and ISO2 blocks.
  2. Source a Concert II+/III or Symphony II+ head unit.
  3. Install a full Fakra→ISO2 adapter and antenna reducer; test rears and sub. “Change the radio to the right one” if issues persist. [Elektroda, Sas_AS, post #16875028]
