Hello everyone, I have a problem in Audi A3 8L 1.6 AVU petrol. So on a cold everything is ok when it reaches a temperature of 90 degrees it starts to tug at a speed of 2000/3000 at low speed is ok I will add that there is no lack of power pulls all the time. Checked with a vag there is then a misfire on the 2nd and 3rd cylinder. It does not light the check, it only shows the number of ignitions found in real time data. Crashes but not always (17656 injection start adjustment, 16554 incorrect mix setting, 16555 system too poor page 1, 16514 lambda probe circuit first) and not all together. Replaced with new spark plugs, coil, crankshaft sensor, timing tensioner, first probe ahead of angle, changed engine controller, swapped injectors, measured cylinder pressure (on all four 13.5 equally) fuel pressure about 2.5. I will add that at a stop holding revolutions around 2000/3000, you can hear these falling out the ignition in the rear in the muffler (snort). My question is if it's the head's fault but the pressure is ok I don't know anymore maybe someone had something similar and will help.

Coolant temperature sensor checked by vag?

To start with, replace all eight seals in the intake manifold ... somewhere "catches" the left air by the way clean and adopt throttles

Vag shows on a hot 104 degrees the clock holds 90 evenly

I don't know if it's good but I checked the tightness by spraying the entire intake manifold with a poster on a running engine and the vogue revs did not increase

I will replace these gaskets and clean the throttle and let me know if it helped

Candles, coil and HV cables also changed? Only in the 2000-3000 RPM range there is a problem? How is it going with a load uphill?

Do they fall constantly or sporadically and randomly?

It is most noticeable in the 2000/3000 rev range as I drive about 90 km / h evenly. At idle and sharp drive is ok. On vagu shows that fall out on the 2nd and 3rd cylinder. Candles and coil changed to new cables inside but not lit at night do not kick the sprayed water and are ok.

They fall out sporadically But always the 2nd and 3rd cylinder on slow and with a sharp ride it is ok the worst is with an even drive in the 2000/3000 revolutions range

Has anyone found a solution to the problem because mine is almost the same except that the cylinders are 1-4

The fuel pressure of 2.5 bar was the standard for a single point, 3.5-3.8 in a multipoint

My fuel pressure is perfect, I doubt the computer because the problem appeared after a full engine overhaul

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around an Audi A3 8L 1.6 AVU petrol experiencing ignition loss and misfires on cylinders 2 and 3 when the engine reaches 90 degrees Celsius. The user reports that the vehicle runs fine when cold but exhibits issues at 2000-3000 RPM, particularly during steady driving. Error codes indicate problems with injection start adjustment, incorrect mixture settings, and lambda probe circuit issues. Various components have been replaced, including spark plugs, coils, crankshaft sensor, and injectors, with cylinder pressure measured at 13.5 across all cylinders. Suggestions from other users include checking the coolant temperature sensor, replacing intake manifold seals, and cleaning the throttle. Fuel pressure is noted to be low at 2.5 bar, which may be inadequate for a multipoint system. The user confirms sporadic misfires primarily affecting cylinders 2 and 3.
