Hello. I have a computer with a damaged system, I want to repair it, I need an installation disc for it, but I don't know how to check exactly what the system is there.

This is a Lenovo laptop, sticker from 8. I want to know if it is Windows 8 64 or 32 bit and whether Pro, Home, Business ..

    PS
I have access to all files on this disk, where can it be saved?

    Ideas?

Is this all you have in this file? The header should contain the system version.

Anyway, after downloading the iso from Windows 8, you will have all versions there and repair should work.

It is written that the last update from 2015. After that "Windows Operating System", and there all the rest of this license. There is also a record:

"If the licensee has acquired the Professional version of Windows from the manufacturer ... then he is entitled to use Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 7 Professional ...."

But if this is a record that it is Windows 8 Pro I do not know.

Don't you have the impression that this is a description of the right to downgrade? This in turn would indicate that Windows 10 is currently on the disk (the media downloaded by MCT includes the Pro and Home versions, for "key recognition from the BIOS (UEFI)).
The matter of "bits" remains - probably already from 4 GB of memory, and even in the BIOS (UEFI) you can check, you can bet that it is a 64-bit version.

    PS
Trouble may be with "with Bing" or some "N", but at this stage it can't be helped.

Topic summary

To determine the Windows 8 system version on a Lenovo laptop, users can check the file located at C:WindowsSystem32License.rtf for version details. The header of this file should indicate the system version. Additionally, the registry can be accessed for further verification. If the license mentions a Professional version, it may suggest the presence of Windows 8 Pro. For installation, downloading an ISO from Windows 8 will provide all versions necessary for repair. The system's architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) can often be inferred from the amount of RAM (4 GB or more typically indicates a 64-bit version). Users should also consider potential issues with specific editions like "with Bing" or "N" versions.
