    Hello,

I would like to ask my colleagues who are investigating this topic, because I have a similar problem. Namely:
    - I have a * .bat file that starts the process of creating reports on my computer (in Excel), the file is launched by the Task Scheduler,
    - so far, when the application works on WinXP, everything worked, now I updated it to Win10 and it does not work as I would like,
    - the symptom is that when I click directly on the * .bat file, it starts and overwrites the files correctly, if it is done by the Task Scheduler, the program is executed, but the report files are not overwritten ...
    And I don't really know what's going on ...

Maybe someone met with such a problem ??

Thanks in advance for any suggestions ...

I separated as a new topic.
Do not attach to other people's threads. This causes a mess in the forum.

If they aren't overwritten, it's probably a permission issue.
I had a similar problem with the script on Windows Server 2008/2012.
The script on the Windows 2003 server worked without any problems, not much on the newer ones.
This started working fine as I converted * .bat to * .exe.
I don't remember the name of this converter now, but the schedule worked fine when I pointed it to the * .exe file instead of * .bat.

The idea with the * .exe file does not work. I still don't overwrite my files when I open * .bat through the Task Scheduler.

I would like to remind myself ... Maybe some more ideas with the problem that remains unsolved by me ... I have no idea
