Hello. I am asking for information about the weakest links of my choice. I am thinking of buying a Bosch WAE24240PL washing machine for reasons:

    1. A screwed tank / tub, not glued
    2. Replaceable bearings, i.e. NOT integrated with the rear chamber of the tank
    3. Aquastop + solenoid valve on the inlet hose
    4. Price around PLN 1400
    5. Undercounter mounting options - I want to build it up

    questions:
    a. As above for the weakest link - is it a good toto? Worth buying for PLN 1400? Will the module and bearings fly quickly / often?
    b. Are points 1 and 2 true?
    c. After 2 years of warranty, should I insure an additional 3 years at Ergo Hestia for PLN 282 when buying at mediaexpert? Does the Bosch Gliwice service serving Krakow work efficiently and does not blame the customers? Doesn't refuse warranty repairs for any reason?
    d. Is the washing machine noisy? Stable? Soundproofed inside?
    e. Does sheet metal rust quickly?
    f. Are there satisfactory effects of use? Washing? No noise? Reliability?

All your dilemmas have no meaning: it has been programmed in such a way that after doing some laundry there will start to stupid and the diagnosis will always be the same: it is cheaper to buy a second new one than this corpse after the professionals or look for a used drum somewhere after the garbage. In today's washing machines, basically, the only interference that you can do yourself and it has some economic sense there is to replace a burnt heater because the universal one costs several dozen zlotys and you can do it yourself in an hour or two.
I've been using it for a year

it is quiet, it reaches out, so far it hasn't broken down. The only minus is the long programs due to these unnecessary eco functions. The old washing machine did not have a program longer than 90 minutes and this one has more than 2 hours of washing as standard (not including some 15 minutes modes and it is not washing but rinsing)

    not worth it.

    @ Piasek80
    Hello. Thanks for the answer.
It is a pity that these programs last after 2 hours. Is there no reasonable short one- and one-and-a-half hour program? All this TimeVarioPerfect is about a k. D.? At least it's good that it is quiet, because the kitchen is to be built-in.

    not worth it.

Have you had any transitions with BSH service? They get out of warranty repairs under any pretext or what?

I am a home appliance serviceman, I have already done some repairs.

Sure, I agree with you that deliberate programmatic aging, among others large home appliances is a brazen obvious matter. However, let me disagree with you as to the irrelevance of the fact that the model I mentioned has a screwed tank / bathtub (your WAN2427SPL also) and replaceable bearings that are not integrated with the tank. What your WAN2427SPL is unfortunately no more. It is much easier to service than cutting and gluing plastic. Due to the fact that the washing unit is not a complex part, boschit must also sell crosses separately to it, even unprofitably for 4 pennies each. But it's always better than being doomed to buy a washing machine for tauzena + or a new washing machine-like product after 3 years of use.

And aquastop (both this real aquastop, i.e. foamed polystyrene at the bottom of the washing machine bottom, and this aquastop at the end of the inlet hose + solenoid valve at the end of the inlet hose) can be useful. May it not be useful. But as it must, it probably comes in handy and fulfills its function well, I suppose.

No, no exaggeration. Still there it is worth calling for a service for 1500 PLN for costing with the purchase of parts from 100 PLN to 200-350 PLN, for diagnosis / repair of leakage, short circuit, break in circuit, module

Gentlemen WAE is the most reliable and probably the cheapest (in servicing) Bosch series, I am currently using Siemens S1 WTF (Siwamat XS 440) which is 18 (!) Years old and I am waiting for delivery from WAE 24240PL - it is bigger than my old lady, but it is structurally almost a twin and I hope it will serve just as long. I change the washing machine from good to good because the current one is too small and there is no start delay, but despite its age, it works and stays with me. Best regards.

I will not agree with the above, for example, brushes that you can get anywhere for PLN 12.00? In addition, in the event of programming faults in electronics, in my opinion this is a matter
and how they applied to the design, because there are washing machines with almost reliable electronics.

And how does this WAE 24240PL washing machine work?
How is it really with parts for it? Because this model is rather unpopular. Do most parts fit on the lower models of this WAE series?

Majqul, would you suggest which ones have the least reliable electronics?

We want to have A +++, we have to wait. The second thing, today the washing machine washes in 50-60 liters, once even in 150l. You need to give the washing machine time to finish everything. You don't have to stand at the washing machine all the time like feathers ;)

Electronics in both models are basically the same. The difference is only due to the presence of Aqua Stop (WAE24240). I do not know if these programmers are somehow very unreliable. The power module may not, but certainly the operating module (keyboard) can fall quite often. This is due to its design. In these models, Bosch has replaced the waterproof touch buttons with ordinary buttons like cheap Chinese radios, plus the combination of moisture that naturally occurs in the bathroom can cause keyboard failure. As for the washing machine itself (applies to both WAE 2026 and WAE 24240), I strongly advise you to consider buying it, I already regret it. When planning to buy a washing machine, you should not focus only on its possible reliability, but primarily on its functional properties. In these models you cannot (which annoys me extremely) turn off the centrifuge completely, i.e. you can turn off the final spin, but not the intermediate one. I really don't know what a bosch idiot he came up with. No drum position sensor spin controlled only by the programmer. In fact, it is difficult to say whether the washing machine has a spin speed control. Washing programs are massively long on average about 3 hours. No programs for washing normally soiled rags. Ie. the washing machine washes too weak (short programs) or too much (regular programs). In addition, it is quite loud. I advise against buying. The only plus in this equipment is that Bosch is not yet saving as much as other manufacturers on components responsible for safety of use; rather, water from a cracked hose will not flood you in the bathroom, electricity probably won't hurt you, but here I would invest in a differential. :-) )) etc

I still add that the WAE24240PL has a spin at 1200 revolutions and therefore the drum is made more solid (it has additional reinforcement) than 1000 revolving models, the electronics are reliable and simple - these washing machines are impossible to reach. I have been using it myself for over a year and I have bought this model for three other family members.

The only thing that can have more solid is the thicker drum axis, which can be clearly stated by the size of the dedicated bearings. Which would also match what you write. Unless they also make axes of the Teutonic knights from harder material, but I don't know anything about it.

And so for e.g. WAE24240PL / 01 with max. loam. rpm. 1170obr / min. bearings have sizes:
    internal .: 6306Z, D1 = 72mm; D2 = 30;
    external: 6205Z, D1 = 52mm; D2 = 25;

    And for e.g. for WAE2026 (DPL | EPL | FPL | KPL) / 01 or WAE2006 (GPL | MPL) / 01
with max. loam. rpm. 1000obr / min. bearings have sizes:
ext .: I do not know how much, you can not see in the pictures, maybe 6306Z - the same, or some other smaller than in WAE24240PL / 01
    external: 6204Z - smaller than in WAE24240PL / 01

All currently produced Bosches at 1200 rpm and above, they have a reinforced drum around the perimeter. Does not occur at 1000 rev.
