    Hello,

standard subject, but I can't find the answer.
Do any of these two Bosch washing machines have replaceable bearings?
    WAT24340PL
    WAT24441PL
I have a service technician recently, he said that mainly bearings and pumps are replaced.

If they are not replaceable, what Bosch model do you recommend for the price up to 2000 (bearings - can you find a list somewhere?). The brand was chosen properly by my wife and I don't want to argue about this anymore.

My AEG Lavamat 42230 is 14 years old, non-replaceable bearings - they are said to be 18 years old :-)

    Thank you

Both washing machines are not replaceable.

    None recommendable, unfortunately.

    Let him justify why?

With today's anti-aging policy, it's a shame to change bearings. There is a high probability that something else will fall after the exchange. You buy the next washing machine and you have it cheaper by the cost of replacing the bearings in the old one.

    Let's not ...
There are no washing machines that cannot be replaced. There are only professionals who cannot do this, and washing who cannot wash, because either they put too little clothes into the washing machine or too much in relation to the washing machine loading as provided by the manufacturer.
If we wash often but with a small load, let's look for a washing machine with a load of 5-6 kg, if we wash with a large load, let's look for a washing machine with a large load.
The second thing is poor quality bearings in some washing machines.

My friend who replaces bearings in undissolved washers does not complain about the lack of occupation. It remodels the "socket" and mounts bearings together with siemering, where after such repair the washing machine washes min. 8 years.

Secondly, the fact that washing machines have non-replaceable bearings did not come from nowhere. Messy replacement of bearings (through the so-called golden handles) led to a considerable number of accidents, among others in Europe. Everything for security reasons. A glued washing machine is more expensive in production than a screwed one, and as a result, companies have started to save money, including on bearings and sealants which, in poor quality, in combination with powders, break, water gets into the bearings, which damages the bearings.

Well, that's true, but there is one tiny but, in Bosch there are also miserable crosses that fall apart usually before the bearings.
While other brands also make glued, when it hits the bearings from the Bosch stable I do not even touch, it is a waste of work and time, often (in most cases) after cutting the cross, or already cracked or missing.

And this is a strange statement, we probably learned other mathematics

The official opinion of the washing machine manufacturers at lectures and service training. Apparently, more energy is used for ultrasonic welding of a washing machine than for producing several screws.

As for the Teutonic Knights, that's right, though, together with a friend, we noticed that equipment bought in the market is more damaged than the one bought from Staszek around the corner.

Official does not mean real, you have to blind your eyes somehow, like security but the cash register must agree

Only this is done by the machine, you do not need to seal, screw, etc.

In this actually the bearings are interchangeable.

Thank you very much for the advice.

    I decided on WAN2826EPL PLN 1549 with a 5 year warranty of PLN 310.
    Simpler programmer, replaceable bearings.

They recommended Gorenje in several places.

It is depressing when the seller, with a smashing honesty, says that the washing machine "SHOULD STAY" for 5 years.
What times have we lived to see :-(

Topic summary

The Bosch washing machines WAT24340PL and WAT24441PL have non-replaceable bearings, which has led to discussions about their longevity and repairability. Users express concerns about the cost-effectiveness of replacing bearings versus purchasing new machines. Some participants argue that while no washing machines are inherently unrepairable, the quality of bearings and the design of the machines can complicate repairs. Recommendations for alternative models include the WAN2826EPL, which features replaceable bearings and a simpler programming interface. The conversation highlights a general dissatisfaction with the durability of modern washing machines and the trend of planned obsolescence in appliance manufacturing.
