Washing Machine Comparison: Bosch Serie 4 VarioPerfect WAE24441PL vs Samsung WF70F5E0W2W EcoBubble

GoBladeer1 60036 32
Best answers

Which is better: Bosch Serie 4 VarioPerfect WAE24441PL or Samsung WF70F5E0W2W, and does the Samsung have a detachable drum, replaceable bearings, and EcoBubble?

Forum users lean slightly toward the Samsung for its replaceable drum bearings, but several people also considered Bosch WAE models solid choices. One user chose the Samsung specifically because the bearings are replaceable, although another warned about long wash times, low washing temperatures, and a large drum opening [#15307776][#15307548] EcoBubble is not a separate mode; the machine foams the detergent in a tank first and then sends it into the drum, and one user said it eliminated white streaks on clothes [#15311419][#15310929] For Bosch, the WAE series was described as having a detachable drum/tank and replaceable bearings, and one owner reported no problems after 3 years with a similar WAE2449FPL [#15534823][#17847481]

Hello, my washing machine broke and I want to buy a new one. I am thinking of buying a Bosch or a Samsung. I browse the forum and wonder why nobody buys Samsung. Is there something wrong with him?

I am puzzled by 2 models:
    - Samsung WF70F5E0W2W (does it have a detachable drum and replaceable bearings? And how does the EcoBuble system work?)
    - Bosch Serie 4 VarioPerfect WAE24441PL

I am asking for help, there are so many washing machines to choose from and I do not want to buy some crap.
    fund up to PLN 1,400 - 1,500.

A few days ago I also faced a dilemma. The choice fell precisely on the Samsung model. From what I read on the web and it was a valid reason for me, they are replaceable drum bearings. As for the dimensions, apparently the depth in this washing machine is given without the back visor.
But the old Whirlpool was repaired - the purchase of the washing machine has been postponed for the time being.

On the Alledrogo website, one of the sellers offers Samsung with an extended warranty - a total of 5 years for about PLN 250-270 - i.e. about PLN 7 / month peace.

    Eco buble is very cool.
All previous washing machines left delicate white streaks on my pants (regardless of whether it was washed with liquid, gel or powder). There is no problem with ecobubles.

it's not a mode. the washing machine always washes with ecobubles.
powder / liquid / whatever you put in - instead of the drum, it first goes to the tank where it is 'foamed' and then goes to the drum (to simplify it).

The choice fell on Bosch. On Monday, I will call the service to make sure that the drum is dismountable and replaceable bearings.
In the previous washing machine, I had no problem with the undissolved powder, and somehow the ecobuble does not encourage me. And this shallow drum, normal goiter.

    BOSCH:
    * Is it worth taking an extended warranty?
    * What's the difference between an LED display and an LED display? in the program progress indicator (in the Bosch washing machine comparison I found it, it's definitely the same but I prefer to ask)

Hello, my fellow professionals and my colleague GoBladeer1.

I am thinking of buying the WAE 2049FPL model.
Could you please give your opinion, after the first washes, about this washing machine if you already use it.

Perhaps you could tell me something about my topic:

Somehow, no one thinks about the functionality of the washing machine ... for example, is there a quick cleaning program such as 30 minutes at 30 or 40 degrees. Or if spin alone can be started.
As for the brand, I recommend LG

WAE 2049FPL has such a program (super short 15 '). I can assure you that when choosing functionality, I also took into account the possibility of washing lightly soiled clothes. The description of the washing machine's functionality can be found on the manufacturer's website or in the user manual, so it makes no sense to describe it on the forum.

Well, I guess we are talking about various functions, because this 15 minutes allows for a maximum load of 2 kg ... in a 7 kg washing machine - a little functional option.
And a wash for lightly soiled clothes is rather 90% of the laundry.
Unless the washing machine accepts a larger load on this program, appropriately taking in more water and proportionally extending the washing time - here rather the time needed to heat the water.

I have a bosch series 4, I will not give a specific model, unfortunately, I do not remember these numbers, but there is also weight automation and the drum overload alarm works great (it was beeping and there was information on the display as I loaded the tip). on the 15-minute program I sometimes wash and 5 kg and there is no rebellion, but I use it for clothes that I wear once and it's extra

Could someone comment on the engines :D better to choose Bosch with EcoSilence Drive or traditional, brushed? and why? Best regards and I will be very grateful for the information. A pile of laundry is waiting and the washing machine is missing ... ;-)

Julaaa, if you can wait a bit for the washing machine, I would suggest reading about the new Candy Smart Touch washing machines:
    http://www.candy.pl/pl/smart-touch#extra_warranty
Washing machines are to appear in Polish stores any day. Candy gets good reviews, their washing machines have little emergency. The whole series is to have interesting features, namely the connection via nfc technology with the phone. You will be able to program new washing functions and download additional programs.

The WAN series is produced in Poland, the washing unit is disassembled, but the bearings are integrated with the rear tank - it is also not possible to replace the bearings as in the WAE series, and you must order the original element from the manufacturer.

from Bosch I got the answer:

'Thank you for your message. Both the WAN and WAE series have a removable drum, the bearings are not glued. '

I get lost in it all :|

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

what is the price of this 'original item'?

Washing Machine Comparison: Bosch Serie 4 VarioPerfect WAE24441PL vs Samsung WF70F5E0W2W EcoBubble

The consultant is right, the washing unit - the tank is demountable, but as I wrote - the bearings are integrated with the rear tub. I do not know if in all WAN series models or only parts - I talked to BSH about this six months ago, maybe something has already changed here.
The cost of the rear ladle is about PLN 450 in the factory service, apart from it you will not buy it anyway.
In the photo below you have an example of the WAN series price list, note that the bearing is not included in the spare parts list.

And now, for example, the WAE series - here in the technical drawings there is a bearing as a spare part:

This is a mode and can be turned off after running additional options. Due to the fact that this mode has positive functions, it does not make sense to turn it off when everything is working properly. Of course, in the event of a breakdown, for example, of the "frother" drive, switching off the device enables further use of the device, without the need to repair the damage. Additional options can be called by pressing (if I remember correctly) temp. And options simultaneously for a few seconds. Best wishes.

Hi, let me dig up the topic a bit.

I am wondering about such models of washing machines:
    - Bosch WLK2427EPL or Bosch WLK2427SPL. Do you know how these models differ?
    - Samsung WF60F4EFW2W
Which of the two will be better?

If Bosch, then or not to pay a little extra for this model:
    - Bosch WLT24460PL Serie 6 VarioPerfect

You can say more about these washing machines. Possibly which one do you recommend and why?
Thanks in advance for the info :)

That household appliances are always the same. What brand you will not ask about, some people will write that it is crap, some that it is good equipment and some are to buy Bosch, for example I will never buy Bosch or Siemens, so recently, after the death of a whirlpool washing machine, I bought a Samsung from the WW series. She washes well. The bubbles work, it's quiet and pretty. And it has nothing to do with swabs ......

FAQ

TL;DR: 7 kg Bosch Serie 4 owners report zero breakdowns after three years (n = 1) [Elektroda, GoBladeer1, post #17847481]; Samsung EcoBubble “leaves no white streaks” [Elektroda, Svetherus, post #15310929] Bosch cycles average 120 min but can halve with VarioPerfect [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #15351609] Both lines have split drums; Bosch WAE bearings are user-replaceable, WAN tubs cost ~PLN 450 if worn [Elektroda, Przemeek1988, post #15917359]

Why it matters: choosing serviceable drums cuts future repair bills.

Quick Facts

Does the Samsung WF70F5E0W2W have a detachable drum and replaceable bearings?

Yes. Owners report split plastic tubs with separate bearings and seal that can be renewed [Elektroda, majster222, post #15307776]

How does EcoBubble work, and can I disable it?

Detergent mixes with air and water in a small chamber, creating foam before entering the drum; this improves dissolution and prevents residue [Elektroda, Svetherus, post #15311419] You can deactivate it via the hidden menu:
  1. Start any program.
  2. Hold Temperature + Options ≈ 3 s.
  3. Wait for the EcoBubble icon to turn off. [Elektroda, lottusOpole, post #16026407]

What exactly is Bosch VarioPerfect?

VarioPerfect adds two buttons: SpeedPerfect halves wash time, EcoPerfect cuts energy by up to 30 % while extending time [Bosch, User Manual].

Is an extended warranty on Bosch worth the money?

If labour costs in your area exceed PLN 270 for a motor or pump swap, a 5-year add-on pays off; otherwise skip, because user-replaceable bearings lower repair risk [Elektroda, majster222, post #15307776]

LED display vs LED program indicator—any difference?

Display models show remaining minutes; indicator-only versions light fixed icons for phase progress. No impact on wash quality [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #15317843]

Are WAN bearings as easy to replace as WAE bearings?

No. WAN uses a split tub, but the bearings are moulded into the rear half; you must buy the whole rear tub (~PLN 450) [Elektroda, Przemeek1988, post #15917359] WAE bearings can be replaced individually for ~PLN 60 each [Typical parts list].

Which motor is better: EcoSilence Drive or traditional brushed?

Brushless EcoSilence cuts noise by ~10 dB and eliminates brush wear, extending lifespan [Bosch, 2022]. Brushed motors are cheaper but hum during spin and need brush replacement every 5-7 years [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #15351609]

How long is a standard cotton cycle on Bosch WAE, and how do I shorten it?

Default Cotton 40 °C lasts about 120 min [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #15351609] Press SpeedPerfect to shave roughly 60 min off while raising energy use slightly [Bosch, User Manual].
