A few days ago I also faced a dilemma. The choice fell precisely on the Samsung model. From what I read on the web and it was a valid reason for me, they are replaceable drum bearings. As for the dimensions, apparently the depth in this washing machine is given without the back visor.
But the old Whirlpool was repaired - the purchase of the washing machine has been postponed for the time being.

On the Alledrogo website, one of the sellers offers Samsung with an extended warranty - a total of 5 years for about PLN 250-270 - i.e. about PLN 7 / month peace.

I chose the model that interests you. Washing cycles are quite long (about 2 hours), but they can be shortened by pressing the time perfect button. The door is locked with an electromagnet that works loudly. The lock will prevent the washing machine from being opened when the drum is rotating or when the water temperature is about 60 degrees or when there is too much of it. The brush motor hums a little at the start of the wash. Later it is quieter, and during spinning you can hear the characteristic whistle of the brushes. The water level is very low during washing.

The description of the washing machine's functionality can be found on the manufacturer's website or in the user manual, so it makes no sense to describe it on the forum.

Well, I guess we are talking about various functions, because this 15 minutes allows for a maximum load of 2 kg ... in a 7 kg washing machine - a little functional option. And a wash for lightly soiled clothes is rather 90% of the laundry. Unless the washing machine accepts a larger load on this program, appropriately taking in more water and proportionally extending the washing time - here rather the time needed to heat the water.

There are also longer programs that can be shortened with the time perfect function. Then you have the option to load more laundry. With the super short program, the washing machine does not defend itself against loading a larger load than recommended. The manufacturer's data states that the washing machine does not have a drum full sensor. There is also no automatic weighing needed to react to too large a load as you have described.
As for the washing temperature, the washing machine waits for the washing solution to reach the correct temperature (according to the program settings). There is usually a little water in the drum, regardless of the program. With a larger load, the washing machine takes in water, makes a few turns of the drum and adds water again.

The consultant is right, the washing unit - the tank is demountable, but as I wrote - the bearings are integrated with the rear tub. I do not know if in all WAN series models or only parts - I talked to BSH about this six months ago, maybe something has already changed here.
The cost of the rear ladle is about PLN 450 in the factory service, apart from it you will not buy it anyway.
In the photo below you have an example of the WAN series price list, note that the bearing is not included in the spare parts list.
