    Hello.

I recently bought a Panasonic TX-50EX700E TV and after the first delight, I noticed that black and generally dark areas of the image are elements in which this TV, despite the use of an MVA matrix, does not do well. In the attached photos you can see that the dark background is dotted with shimmering rectangular areas. And here's my question. How to set the image parameters to get rid of this effect, because to be honest, my 10-year-old Sony is much better with such things.

    Please help.

The resolution of the TV is 4K UHD and you give it an HD signal and bidulek must now convert the HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels to 4K UHD 4 times the 3840 x 2160 pixels.
Moral - we buy a TV with the screen resolution that this TV will work with and let's not follow the fashion.
Your old TV, even with an SD matrix and not necessarily HD Reda, will work much better because in this case the number of information provided to the TV is much greater, the picture will be clearer. If you send a HD signal to a 4K TV, the amount of information is 4x less and the TV must produce the missing amount of pixels and lines, which is associated with the so-called pixelosis.

In that case, report the TV to the service - complaint, repair.

I have colleagues exactly the same. This is a mockery. Has it been fixed?

I found the cause, but the problem remains.

The reason is the image quality, or rather its resolution. Signal quality is also important.

    Examples:

    1. TVN, Polsat - the problem occurs in very dark scenes.
    2. HBO, TVN24 - no problem.
    3. Netflix - no problem.
    4. YouTube - if the video is from some official source, the problem does not occur. However, if it is thrown by a sub-user of this website, even if it is 4K, the problem will occur. I don't know why there is such a relationship.

But I still managed to reduce the visibility of these rectangles to almost zero by slightly brightening (+4) the dark areas of the image. There is such a feature with a slider in the image settings.

Thank you for your answer. I have cable from Vectra and I have a ci + module on the TV. Yesterday on tv6 HD I wanted to watch csi and unfortunately it was not possible. The whole movie was almost at night and the squares were chasing the squares.

I would also like to ask for the screen parameters you have at home. Currently I'm going to see Natural or Real cinema.

    regards
