Hello, Does anyone from the Forum have a cost calculator for heating hot tap water? I'm thinking about throwing away Junkers and switching to electric heating.

In this case, there is little to calculate - in Poland electricity is expensive, and heating water using it is the most expensive method.
However, it can be easily counted. How much hot water do you need?
Let's assume that the water in the water supply m, and 18 * C. You need 55 * C in the tap. It gives us a 37 * C difference. The specific heat of water is 4190J / kg * K. So heating 10L of water by 37 * C will require at least 1550kJ. It gives 0.44kWh and it will cost 25gr. So, heating 40L of water costs 1 PLN. Assuming, of course, that we heat the water itself at 100% efficiency.
Count now how much you spend on gas for the junker and how much hot water you consume.

From what I see it with my consumption of hot water at the level of 3-4 m3 a month is the fact that the electrically come out more expensive. Because about PLN 100 / month.
Currently, it is the gas cost 112 PLN / 2msc. The gas bill obviously includes consumption by a gas kitchen.
I suppose, however, that water consumption should fall and it will not be meaningless for bills.
Instead of manually washing, the dishwasher will be in place and instead of the tub there will be a shower.
The cost of buying an electric boiler is also smaller than a reasonable gas junker.
And security ... I will skip this because it is a psychological comfort.

In the G12 tariff 15gr. I used to count and work the same way as my colleague Kraniec_Internetów counted, about 2gr / per liter of water temp 70 * C, water from the boiler 80L, night tariff or G12, heating at night from 4:30 to 6 and on the day from 14-15. And in low daylight hours you can also get a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is no gap between gas and G12 tariff. It is a bit more expensive or not at all.

Not everyone has two tariffs. Rarely does anyone have it.

Kraniec_Internetów in my opinion the most expensive is heating with fuel oil.

Possible. Writing that electric is the most expensive I did not consider heating with oil. Do you use or do you know how much it costs? Still in the electric issue, I also used electric energy. I had 2 boilers, probably 220 liters in total. The energy bills were literally cosmic, as if I had not warmed up the water, but at least the gold was smelting. In any case, the boiler has been dumped for scrap and now I'm heating with a heat pump. Receipts for good after exchange decreased by 200 PLN / month.

rafbid , and here I confirm what I have already written about the cost of heating, but that I have a different opinion about the costs of electric water heating. I use Siemens DE1518628 Electronic exclusive instantaneous water heaters, and here I would rather find myself at a decent cost. I set them up only because of the ability to quickly set the desired water temperature with the help of four buttons.
