    Hello
    Recently, a cat bit my telephone cables somewhere in the middle. So I cut off the damaged part. And as I mentioned in the title, the cables are of type C. And now he would need someone who would know how to make the cable to me. It looks like this:
    Repair Bitten USB Type-C Cable: Reconnecting Red, Green, White Wires & Grounding, Cat Damage

    and now like this:
    -> red: power
    -> green: data +
    -> white: data -
    -> 3x not insulated: are these ground cables? if so I can connect them together, do I have to isolate each and connect them separately?
    -> cables on the screen (not insulated): what is it from?

    Thanks for the help and all information in advance.
    Regards - P

    PS
    I was looking on google but I can't find anywhere ..: / I know you can buy it, but if you can fix it, why not ;) The more I like to mess around with such nonsense sometimes ;)

    As you can see, however, you can find something there.
    The 2nd photo shows that the "bare" wires fulfill the same task and are most likely the mass of the system.
    The screen's task is to isolate the system from the environment and the environment from the system so that they do not interfere with each other. This is the simplest explanation, although the issue is more complex.
    greetings

    Damn the second photo, you can't see much .. but assuming that these are the masses, can the masses touch each other or it doesn't matter? and one more thing, this cable on the screen does it matter or at all?
