    Hello,
I need help configuring my own modem router (TP-LINK TD-W8960N) to send wifi.
Fiber optic Internet, from multimedia, comes out of their modem (ZHONE 2426A) via RJ-45 cable directly to the laptop and works like that, regardless of which laptop it connects with this cable.

Now, connecting to the WAN port on my modem router, I don't know how to configure it to create a wifi network

You connect to a LAN, not WAN port and turn off the DHCP server on TP-Link.

IP of the tp-link 192.168.1.1 modem
The ZHONE multimedia modem IP is probably the same. (With rj45 connected to the laptop after entering this address I have access to the modem)

When I connect rj45 to tp-link after entering this address, a tp-link modem pops up, but this is also not the rule, because sometimes I do not want to log in via admin / admin, but only ask for data to zhone (L: user h: multimedia today I found login details)

Do this: leave the modem IP as it is, change the scope of the DHCP server in the modem, e.g. 192.168.1.10-192.168.1.100, IP TP-Link set 192.168.1.2

The user initially connected the TP-LINK router to the ZHONE modem via the WAN port but was advised to connect it to a LAN port instead and disable the DHCP server on the TP-LINK. After confirming the IP addresses of both devices, the user was guided to adjust the DHCP settings on the ZHONE modem and assign a static IP to the TP-LINK router.
