I'm looking for a laptop on which I can relatively efficiently edit movies in 4K. I also want it to be light - up to 1.5 kg and quite handy, i.e. a screen up to 15 inches, because I will be moving with it quite a lot and I do not want it to disturb me too much. Battery life is also quite important, because I will take it to university, also at least 7-8 hours with normal use. It is also supposed to be a laptop for everyday use, so it does not have to be very technical, as long as it can process in 4K without any jamming.
Memory is not that important, because I will work on an external drive anyway.
    Budget: up to PLN 6,500

I was looking for a bit and unfortunately I did not find any equipment meeting such requirements. Models with a 4k matrix below 15 "are practically non-existent, the ones I found had slow i5 or 8GB RAM processors, and you need a hefty i7 and 16GB.

In my opinion, it makes no sense to take anything with a screen below 15.6 "anyway because the comfort of work will suffer.

These two seem pretty cool. Omen has a better processor and ram (a total of about 10% more performance) and a much better graphics card that will speed things up a lot. In addition, a matte matrix is usually a better choice. It is also cheaper. I just don't know if it supports Thunderbolt, and that could make a difference when using external drives, the G3 definitely does. It would be worth asking if the RAM can be expanded in these models, assuming that it is to be equipment for longer.

    I think this is a SCI-FI topic - such a laptop in 6.5k 1.5KG?
Well, it must be a stationary + mini laptop or DTR not portable ...

Hmm, in fact, this editing does not have to be very professional, I have a gopro and it is mainly to be used for recording motorbike rides, it will rather be films for my own use, maybe once in a while I will post something on yt, but nothing else. I won't even edit most of the films, but if I do, I want to be able to do so. So, can i5 and 8GB of ram be enough for something like this, or are they too weak parameters to edit something once in a while? I emphasize that it is supposed to be mainly a laptop for everyday use, browsing the Internet, etc. and I do not want to buy something overcomplicated unnecessarily, which I will never use 100%

Well, now it's better - look for a mobile laptop, but don't count on i5 4 cores and normal voltage. You need to know if you want something small (15 inches is not small) with a long battery life and a performance that is neither small nor battery life and then the i5 4 cores will be there.
