Hello, I didn't know where to put this post, but because I have a laptop, I put it here.
Recently I purchased a game called "60 seconds". When the game starts it's OK, but when the menu for that game should appear, something like this happens - the game menu appears for literally 2-3 seconds, then disappears and there is a black screen, but the sound of the game can be heard. I updated the graphics card and monitor drivers, but it didn't help :( Please help, my system is Windows 7, video card is nvidia GeForce G102M, laptop monitor. I don't know what this problem might be caused by. Thank you in advance for your help.

    Other games work ok?
Post the error from the event log if it is from this event.
Check if there is an image on the external monitor.

That's how the rest of the games work OK. How to check if there is an image on the external monitor? Because I have a laptop monitor.

@ dus1eek you connect the laptop with a VGA cable to the monitor.

No exaggeration, you don't need to connect an external monitor.

    Try installing DirectX 9.
Try to enter C: \ Users \ [YourUserName] \ AppData \ Local Low \ Robot Gentleman Studios \ 60 Seconds \ Settings.dat and delete this file, then restart the game.

I have DirectX 9 installed, but as for the file I have to delete, it might be a bit bigger problem. This game "60 seconds" is purchased on the steam platform and I installed this game on the D drive so as not to clutter the C drive.

Settings and configi are either where the friend gave it (regardless of the installation location) or in the game folder.

Exactly, in most games the configuration files are placed in the AppData folder, no matter if you install on a partition other than, for example, System C

Problem solved! After installing DirectX 9 and removing the settings.dat file, the game works as it should :) Thank you to everyone for your time :)
