I have my Music Angel speaker for about 3 years. Everything was ok until I changed my phone to LG-X Power (I have it for 9 months). From the very beginning, it did not work in the sense that it connects but does not play, despite the fact that the music on the phone is on, the volume on the phone and loudspeaker to the maximum. My Music Angel works paired with another phone. Trying to connect my phone to another bluetooth speaker also does not work, but for example, when I connect to the Volkswagen radio (also via bluetooth) everything is ok, just like I will connect to a speaker with a cable. I guess something's wrong with my phone, just what? Please help

Everything is like this with the phone. :)
Recently, Bluetooth is like HDMI - various new functionalities have been added to devices and the effect is that not always one with the other is 100% compatible. The phone has Bluetooth 4.2, so "very new" and certainly supports the A2DP profile, standard for today, what Bluetooth version is in the speaker and what it supports - it is not known.
The fact that you did not provide the speaker model is one thing, but even if you go to the manufacturer's website and find models that support bluetooth, you can learn not much from it.

Anyway, the problem lies in the mutual incompatibility of the bluetooth versions used in both devices.

This is My Music Angel JH-MD06BT. Can you do anything about it? Because to be honest, I don't know much about it

I cannot see this model on the manufacturer's website, I can see the MA06BT and it was written like this:
    Quote:
The MA06BT can be connected wirelessly with any device that has a BLUETOOTH (Handsfree Calling Function) module.

which could suggest that these devices use the hands-free profile. Many devices do not want to transmit music to something that reports itself as a speakerphone.
You can easily check if this is the case - connect the phone to the loudspeaker and call, for example, the hotline of the network operator - you will see if you can hear the voice of the machine in the loudspeaker. If everything works during a call, and the music won't play, I'm afraid you won't do anything about it.
If during the call you will not hear anything, there is a chance that it will be enough to "bury" in the phone settings but I have no idea what exactly should be checked.

Generally, these types of problems are not uncommon - some devices are so designed that they don't want to work together and you won't force them.

I got this wsm speaker from Plus with the LG F60 and the name is correct, so nw, but never mind. I checked so you advised me and nothing. I also remembered that my sister's TRACER TRAGLO45109 speaker did not work with the phone either ... I don't know ... Buy a different speaker? Only what? Will it work? Maybe something to recommend?

The name is probably correct, only the speaker is old and discontinued - probably that's why it is not on the manufacturer's website. That's the whole secret. :)

So it's just that both speakers are not compatible with the phone. Apparently, this phone model is just too new for them - it uses some mode that these speakers do not have.

Unfortunately, I will not help here. I am not a fan of this type of device and I avoid them in all possible ways, among other things because there are situations like yours - both devices are functional, and together they do not work and you don't really know what's going on.

Every cable is a cable, not some wireless inventions. ;)

Thank you very much for your help!

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connectivity issues between a Music Angel Bluetooth speaker and an LG-X Power smartphone. The user reports that while the speaker connects to the phone, it does not play audio, despite both devices being functional with other connections. Responses indicate that the problem may stem from compatibility issues between the Bluetooth versions of the devices, with the LG-X Power using Bluetooth 4.2 and the Music Angel speaker potentially using an older version. Suggestions include testing the speaker's functionality with calls to determine if it supports the necessary audio profiles. Ultimately, it is suggested that the speaker may be too outdated to work with the newer phone, leading to recommendations for purchasing a different speaker.
