Focus 2.0 TDCI HDI DW10 without DPF 136km.

When accelerating calmly it jerks around 2tys RPM. Sometimes it throws an error P2566. During dynamic driving is all ok, has power, etc.

Vacuum lines ok, pear on turbo tight, steering wheel does not jam - mechanically all hardware seems ok.

My suspicion - turbo copy sensor or control solenoid valve from actuator.

The beam and the sensor itself to check.
    Quite a typical fault.

    But what caused?

EGR Delphi has 5,000 km - it seems ok - it doesn't jam, it runs smoothly.

I checked the sensor on an oscilloscope in Forscan - it seemed to show a graph, but in the range of 0-0.01.

Can I check it somehow? Voltage in the plug?

Return to topic - copy sensor replaced with a new one (the old one was actually damaged - no resistance).
No errors now. I did a driver reset.

Unfortunately, it still stops (it is clearly better, but you still feel it) and I have the impression that the engine is not full power.

I have checked yet - the turbo control works properly, corrections on injections close to 1, so it's not that, the throttle in the manifold doesn't get stuck (I don't know if the valve controlling it is working). The engine runs evenly, fires perfectly, does not kick.

    What else can I check?

Today I have disconnected the EGR plug and everything works perfectly!

    Anyone have any idea?

    Hello .
I have the same problem in my 2.0 tdci focus, I am thinking about cleaning the throttle and replacing the EGR together with cleaning the metal tube, it all started with the fact that the turbine began to shed oil now is new.
The engine over 2k RPM seems to start and stop the turbo RPM.
You managed to repair the car, if so, which was the cause of the fault

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Ford Focus MK2 2.0 TDCI experiencing jerking at around 2000 RPM and throwing error code P2566, which indicates a turbocharger boost control position sensor circuit issue. Users suggest checking the EGR system and the turbo sensor, with one user confirming the replacement of the turbo copy sensor resolved the error but did not eliminate the jerking completely. Further diagnostics revealed that disconnecting the EGR plug improved performance, leading to speculation about the EGR's role in the issue. Another user shared a similar experience and considered cleaning the throttle and replacing the EGR.
