Hello, is it possible to teach a cradle with a shift handle in a Mercedes Actros MP4, whether a service interface is needed, because my jaltest computer does not recognize the controller reference number and I cannot do any calibration in advance thank you for the answers

The model is certainly well chosen, and when I try to do as described in the attachment, nothing happens, so probably only the service is left

There is just no error, it displays N2 all the time when trying to teach. When the gear is engaged and I add gas gently, the car starts with such a jerk until it disturbs the cabin. It wasn't there before the exchange

Or maybe someone was rummaging around the actuator? I assume that the parts were selected correctly. How many times have you tried because sometimes the first time it fails.

I've tried a lot of times and nothing. The actuator in MP4 is the thrust bearing, and the bearing has potentiometers that inform about its position. You were on the site trying to do a calibration that failed, displayed error 11. He found that the clutch does not close and there is something wrongly folded and of course to bring the car to them. So I opened the crate again and everything is ok, pressure, bearing and shield coincide with the number from the old set, of course the set is sachs and I have no ideas anymore

I suspect a reverse clutch disc or incorrectly selected clutch

I was so tired with Mercedes Travego by Jaltest. Calibration by Star Diagnosis did not help.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the calibration of the clutch in a Mercedes Actros MP4 after replacing the clutch disc and bearing. The user is facing issues with the Jaltest diagnostic tool not recognizing the controller reference number, preventing successful calibration. Despite confirming the correct model selection, attempts to teach the clutch have resulted in no errors but persistent display of N2, indicating a malfunction. The user reports that the vehicle starts with a jerk when engaging the gear, a problem that arose post-replacement. Suggestions from other participants include checking the actuator and ensuring the correct clutch components were used. The user ultimately suspects a potential issue with the clutch disc or incorrect part selection, leading to the decision to seek professional service for further diagnosis.
