    Hello

I have a Lenovo Y50-70 laptop with an i7-4710HQ processor, 2x4GB DDR3L 1600 RAM. I want to replace the frame with 2x8 GB. And at the moment I have already bought the wrong one, namely:

    http://allegro.pl/pamiec-ram-serwer-ddr3l-kin...DdlY2UyNjVkMDc2OTA5MzFhNzFhOWUzMjJiZjk0MmI%3D

after insertion, the computer starts up for about 5 seconds without the monitor and resets itself over and over again.

    laptop:

I currently have Rama Ramaxel, it doesn't sound like a good company. I would prefer a better one, maybe stimulants ...

Are you sure you have DDR3L RAM in your laptop or maybe DDR3 and you bought DDR3L?

Your RAM is probably PC3-12800 1.5V, and the purchased one is PC3L-12800 1.35V. It may not work due to a difference in power supply.

I've fought a bit with this laptop from the beginning. In the attachment the specifications of my computer received from a man from Lenovo ...

I wrote to Kingston, the consultant instructed me to buy memory from the link:

Your processor supports up to 32MB of Non-ECC RAM, the version you purchased from ECC is unfortunately not supported on your laptop's motherboard.
The memory recommended by the consultant should work!

Once, you just bought the frame, and today, you have to sweat :)
Some ECC, oh my :) it supports 32 GB, but the motherboard probably doesn't.
New Kingstoma costs a little ... apparently they have lifetime warranty. Anyone know if I will buy a used one, but without a receipt / invoice, it fixes it for me like something?

Exactly it can be that the processor supports 32GB and the main board. not really. There is probably a Mobile Intel HM87 Express chipset on the board that can handle this amount of RAM.
The problem may be on the memory slots side, which support 8GB each. That is why the laptop manufacturer specifies max. up to 16GB of RAM. I doubt that modification or anything
BIOS update has changed something. Just to support 32GB you would need 4 sockets, and unfortunately there are only 2.
As for the repair of used memories, they will not do much without "kwita". And I suspect that even with paper after a few years of use there will be flashing some "incorrect assembly".
    But that's just my opinion!
