Hello, I have a Lenovo G580 laptop and I have a question about RAM.

I have a 4GB RAM bone in my opposition but I don't know if they are DDR1, 2 or 3 and what speed they have.
    How can you check it?

And how to check if I can add another 4 to my 4GB. There are two places so you can physically but can the card cope with it.

I downloaded the CPU-Z program but it did not show what framework I have but their size

The following inscriptions appear on the card:

    RAMAXEL NB851211019 100280253 12444A 4GB HT

    11511200393ACA4920016 RMT3160ED58E9W

I can read from it that the bone has 4GB of RAM and nothing else :)

And the question is whether if I add a second identical bone, will the card embrace it?

I looked through and thank you for your help but I admit that I can't speak English and I can't understand if I can add another 4gb of RAM or not

DDR3 1600MHz, you can insert a second bone, preferably the same (and certainly 1600MHz).

Just pay attention to what voltage the memories work, in the first link you have information that is compatible - on 1.35 or 1.5V.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around upgrading the RAM in a Lenovo G580 laptop. The user seeks to identify the type and speed of their existing 4GB RAM, which is confirmed to be DDR3 at 1600MHz. They inquire about the compatibility of adding an additional 4GB RAM module. Responses indicate that it is possible to add a second identical RAM stick, preferably with the same specifications (DDR3 1600MHz). Users are advised to check the voltage compatibility (1.35V or 1.5V) before purchasing the new RAM module.
