I have a Wi-Fi router and two signal amplifiers installed at home. Apart from the type of equipment, is it reasonable for all devices within one network to work on one channel? Will they not disturb each other in such a way?

Amplifiers, i.e. they are not connected by cable? They must work on the same channel, because they pick up from the router and send to computers, and then the other way.

To some extent, yes - the speed through such amplifiers is much lower than without them (about twice with one, and with two probably even more), but this is how it works.

One repeater is connected with a cable to the router. The second repeater is connected to the previous repeater after wifi. I try to understand this network somehow but I am inclined to return the repeaters to the seller because colorful it is only on their leaflets. Generally, I embrace the connection of wifi cameras at home. It looks like this:

Router & Two WiFi Amplifiers on One Channel: Interference, Efficiency & Network Stability

The idea was to amplify the router signal at the ends of the house. Part of it worked, but transfers are not satisfactory. As you can see in the picture, the router is connected via LAN to the repeater, to which one camera is connected. Another repeater is connected to this repeater with wifi and with it a second camera. The problem is that it is not stable and transfers are not satisfactory either.

No cameras are used for amplifiers, in general performing home monitoring on wifi is asking for trouble and even more at higher resolutions where you need to send a lot of data (data streaming).

The fact is that you can forget about a smooth image in 1080 resolution after wifi. So I have LAN cameras connected and I think I will.

It is better to put a little work and have peace and not bother with some amplifiers. Do not go the easy way because you can see what is happening and the more you do it for yourself.

Set this second repeater to client mode. It should be better.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the use of a Wi-Fi router and two signal amplifiers in a home network, specifically addressing concerns about operating all devices on a single channel. It is noted that amplifiers must work on the same channel as they relay signals between the router and connected devices, which can lead to reduced speeds—approximately halving with each additional amplifier. The user experiences instability and unsatisfactory transfer rates, particularly when using Wi-Fi cameras, which are prone to issues at higher resolutions. Suggestions include connecting the second repeater in client mode to improve performance, and a recommendation to consider wired connections for better stability and efficiency.
