    Hello
    I have a question ?
I check the car I want to buy after the VIN
e.g. on this site: www.automo.pl and several are the same

the number of places does not match because the car is 7 people and the report writes 5
mileage write 155 thousand km and the report contains detailed inspections

    but
    on this page https://www.vindecoderz.com/
mileage is given complete another 202 thousand km

    besides on this page https://en.vindecoder.eu/renault
as a result, he writes that the car is 7 local as it is

What's the matter with this data, can someone explain it?
Can vendors modify these databases in any way?

    thanks for the answers

First of all, where is it now registered?

Like an unused agent, a factory battery, an engine unplugged with oil and nothing churging, after checking the diagnostic station, take it as you wish.
The course has two important meanings here.

In Germany, it is possible that there may be 5 places in a small Brief in position S1 and annotation S1 = 7 in the annotations (this is normal). Ask for a brief scan and see how it is in the papers. The second issue is to find out how the diagnostic was included in the review because they register you for the car.

Do not believe this side. I entered the VIN of my car (Peugeot 306, production 2001, date 1th of 2002, with German imported with a mileage of about 197,000, private imports),
it showed that I have a Partner from 2003, and a mileage of 215,000, where it currently has 285,000.

The only reliable source of information about the course is the ASO.

But he writes a second time, the course is not a determinant of anything.
    These are just numbers.

This is unfortunately a fact. There are few people who care about both aesthetics and mechanical matters as obvious as oil change.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around discrepancies found in the VIN check reports for a Renault vehicle, specifically regarding seating capacity and mileage. The user notes inconsistencies between different VIN check websites, with one report indicating a 5-seater configuration while the actual vehicle is a 7-seater. Additionally, there are conflicting mileage readings: one report shows 155,000 km, while another lists 202,000 km. Participants suggest that such discrepancies may arise from differences in registration documents, particularly in Germany, where vehicle specifications can vary. They emphasize the importance of obtaining reliable information from authorized service organizations (ASO) and caution against trusting third-party VIN check sites, which may not always provide accurate data.
