Hello, I bought a SAMSUNG UE58MU6192 TV that does not have bluetooth technology. After some time I bought a SAMSUNG VG-KBD1500 keyboard with a touchpad and remote control function that connects to the TV via bluetooth only. Of course, it doesn't work on the TV. My question is as follows. Is there any possibility of connecting this keyboard to the TV so that it fulfills its function? Maybe there are some bluetooth adapters that would allow the keyboard to function properly? I wouldn't want to return her to the store. Thank you in advance for any tips. Greetings.

And how in short will it receive bluetooth signals from the keyboard and send to TV? I understand that this device connects to the TV via USB. The keyboard connects only via bluetooth, and the TV does not have bluetooth, in the description of this device you suggest there is not a word about bluetooth connectivity, I do not know completely about it, if you can explain it to me a little. greetings :) and thank you for the answer

The TV has a built-in bluetooth module, but not activated. I provide a way to unlock Bluetooth. Because it is a service menu, everyone who enters this menu works at their own risk. Entering the service menu may mean that the warranty will not be accepted if the TV is damaged. turn off the TV and then pressing 'info, menu, mute, power' on the primary remote control one at a time. In the service menu, the setting (BT Support - ON, Voice Recognition - ON, Samsung Smart Control - ON, BT_AUDIO_ON_OFF - ON) after these changes, the TV works with smart samsung remote controls connected to other Samsung TVs, allows you to use the voice function in the remote controls smart samsung, allows you to use the TV with Bluetooth audio products such as Bluetooth headphones. I found a way to unlock it on rtings.com.

    Hello,
I am also the owner of UE58MU6192 TV. I turned on all the options described above, there is even an additional menu in the sound section - List of bluetooth speakers, but there is no speakers or headphones. Maybe some idea to run this module?

regarding eu58MU6122 - I entered the service menu, I turned on BT AUDIO - ON. No bluetooth headphones can be connected. I wanted to enter the menu again and include these three other things you wrote about, but the service menu doesn't start anymore. What could be the reason? (I press the buttons well, on another TV works)

Hello. Someone has discovered how to make tv find the bt headphones after turning on the above bt functions. He searches for me and finds nothing.

I don't - I use cable headphones connected to the converter through the optical audio input.

I can't find it because you have to have bt equipment that works with your TV model, this list has definitely been provided by the manufacturer on its website.

Hey, I would like to refresh the topic a bit so as not to post a new topic - but if the Admin thinks otherwise, please create a new topic :)
It is true that the case concerns a different TV because UE75RU7092U but the problem is the same, ie "pairing" the Samsung VG-KBD1500 wireless keyboard with the TV. Unfortunately, it turned out that my new TV does not have "full" Bluetooth, but some kind of optical bluetooth for connecting headphones, etc., and that the 7 series only has full Bluetooth from the 7400 models (tsk said a guest from Samsung tech support). My previous TV had no problem connecting to the keyboard, even though it was already a few years old and I had no idea there might be some incomplete Bluetooth.
I tried to enter the service menu of the TV but it is completely different than the one described earlier and I do not know if full Bluetooth can be turned on at all in this model.
Please help and let me know if something can be done

FAQ

TL;DR: Enable 4 hidden Bluetooth flags in the Samsung MU6192 service menu; “The TV has a built-in bluetooth module, but not activated.” Proceed carefully and at your own risk. [Elektroda, MAC13K.W, post #17014188]

Why it matters: This helps owners connect Bluetooth audio or remotes when the standard menu shows no Bluetooth.

Quick-Facts

Quick Facts

Does the Samsung UE58MU6192 actually have Bluetooth?

Yes. Owners report a built‑in Bluetooth module that ships deactivated. Enabling specific service‑menu flags exposes Bluetooth audio and Smart Control. Entering the service menu is risky and may affect warranty coverage. “The TV has a built-in bluetooth module, but not activated.” Change only what you understand and document original values before edits. [Elektroda, MAC13K.W, post #17014188]

How do I enable Bluetooth on the MU6192 via the service menu?

Three-step How-To:
  1. Power off TV. On the original remote press: Info, Menu, Mute, Power.
  2. In service menu, set: BT Support = ON, Voice Recognition = ON, Samsung Smart Control = ON, BT_AUDIO_ON_OFF = ON.
  3. Power cycle the TV and re-check Sound > Bluetooth speaker list. Proceed at your own risk; service-menu changes can affect support. [Elektroda, MAC13K.W, post #17014188]

Will the Samsung VG-KBD1500 Bluetooth keyboard work after enabling BT?

Keyboard pairing is not confirmed in this thread. Users mainly report audio and Smart Control working after the unlock. One user noted Series 7 models below 7400 may lack full HID support, affecting keyboards. Treat keyboard pairing as uncertain and test within return windows. [Elektroda, jurnax, post #19161637]

Why does my TV show a Bluetooth speaker list but find nothing?

This symptom appears even after enabling the service flags. Discovery may fail due to firmware limits, unsupported profiles, or radio restrictions. Try rebooting, moving devices closer, and forcing the headphones into pairing mode. If still empty, use a wired or optical workaround. [Elektroda, regis.emiel, post #17486040]

My JBL 450BT won’t pair—any fixes?

Outcomes vary. One user reported JBL 450BT would not connect after the unlock, while a friend paired Sony headphones successfully. Reset the headphones, clear TV Bluetooth list, and retry. If pairing still fails, consider models known to work or use an optical DAC with wired headphones. [Elektroda, alt390, post #17589625]

After toggling BT_AUDIO, my service menu no longer opens—what happened?

A user reported the service menu stopped appearing after changing only BT_AUDIO. Power-cycle the TV and ensure you use the original IR remote. Retry the exact key sequence with the TV fully off (standby). If it persists, avoid further attempts and seek service guidance. [Elektroda, betirazz, post #17590767]

What firmware and OS did the working example use?

The thread’s owner cited Tizen 2017 with build T-KTMDEUC-1151.1 on the UE58MU6192. Knowing your exact firmware helps reproduce steps and explain differences. Check Support > About This TV to confirm yours before trying changes. [Elektroda, Augia, post #16985372]

Can a USB Bluetooth dongle make the TV see my keyboard?

Not reliably. A suggested USB adapter was actually a Wi‑Fi dongle, not Bluetooth. TVs seldom load third‑party BT drivers from USB. Avoid random adapters and focus on the built‑in module or external audio workarounds. “I do not see any word about Bluetooth connectivity.” [Elektroda, Augia, post #16983174]

Is there a wired workaround if Bluetooth audio won’t connect?

Yes. Use the TV’s optical output with a small optical‑to‑analog converter, then plug in wired headphones. This bypasses Bluetooth limits, provides stable audio, and costs little. Keep converter powered from USB if supported to reduce clutter. [Elektroda, betirazz, post #18353704]

Is there an official compatibility list for Bluetooth gear?

One participant suggested checking the manufacturer’s list for devices confirmed to work with your TV. If no list exists for your exact model, test before committing. Keep receipts in case pairing fails due to profile differences. [Elektroda, konsum, post #18356596]

Does entering the service menu void my warranty?

It can. The post sharing the unlock warns that service‑menu changes are at your own risk and may affect warranty acceptance if damage occurs. Record defaults, change only needed flags, and understand the consequences before proceeding. [Elektroda, MAC13K.W, post #17014188]

Can the UE75RU7092U enable full Bluetooth for keyboards?

A RU7092U owner reported difficulty and cited Samsung support stating Series 7 gains full Bluetooth from 7400 upward. HID support may be limited on lower variants. Treat keyboard pairing as unlikely on this model and seek alternative input methods. [Elektroda, jurnax, post #19161637]
