Hello, I installed a Windows 10 64 bit disk on which Windows 7 is and was Windows 10, but I formatted this partition before installing Windows 10 and there was a problem because when I started the computer, a window with three systems pops up (with one win 10 which is not there) and this installed on volume 5. How to clean up these partitions. Please help,

It's on the "disk", have you installed the new W10 on the partition?
You have GPT, so booting is UEFI.
As you can see, simply reformatting the partition with the old system is not enough.
Entries to the BCD remain stored on the ESP partition.
Unfortunately, you haven't been able to present which is where. Use Disk Management - diskmgmt.msc.

I am eager to see how toto works, because I face a similar problem myself, I only have 1 OS, and ... six entries. ;)
@ mayday28 Just don't smash it with your boot program ... good luck ...

this is what it looks like I don't know what's going on with these partitions 2,3,4 8 generally on C there is windows 10 on D windows 7 and on E: a data partition, I can delete these partitions 2,3,4,8? or not because there's a boot partition somewhere

Pull down the "Status" column and relocate diskmgmt.msc.

As you can see, partition 2 cannot be deleted because it is an ESP system partition.
4.8 partitions are recovery partitions - they can come in handy but you can delete by of your own discretion.

So what is left to format the entire disk and reinstall to keep the partitions in order?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues related to partition management after installing Windows 10 on a system that previously had Windows 7. The user encountered a boot menu displaying multiple operating systems, including a non-existent Windows 10 installation. Responses suggest using EasyBCD to manage boot entries and highlight the importance of the EFI System Partition (ESP) in UEFI boot configurations. It is noted that simply formatting partitions does not remove boot entries stored in the ESP. The user inquires about the possibility of deleting certain partitions, with advice indicating that the ESP and recovery partitions should be preserved unless the user opts for a complete disk format and reinstallation to streamline the partition structure.
