Hello. My son burned the tweeters to me ...: / There was a party ...
I know that low-end equipment, home theater - ONKYO TX-SR308 receiver, while the MAudio HCS speaker set - 9920 MK II. These were once sold. It was enough for my dulled hearing ;) but it happened. And something needs to be done about it.
    1. Or replace the subwoofers the cheapest - as I get.
    2. or change the columns to different ones - I think about TONSILE: http://cinematech.pl/tonsil-maestro-sa ... eszcz.html
But such a technical question: on the receiver there is 6 Ohm, on MAudio speakers the range is 4 - 8 Ohm. And it played. Can I exchange for columns where only 8 Ohm is given?
It may be a silly question, but can it work together?
I will be grateful for the info ;)
    Greetings.

You can connect 6ohm to 8ohm. There were already hundreds of such topics on the electrode

Hello, i.e. 8 Ohm loudspeakers can be connected to a 6 Ohm amplifier without risk, as I understand it :) ? Not the other way around.

Simply put: loudspeakers should always have more Ohm than an amplifier or the same. Another thing is that the manufacturers approach the technical aspect differently and often give the range as you wrote 4-8 Ohm which is a bit incomprehensible to me with the speakers. Generally, with relatively quiet listening it does not matter what and how you connect it, while at high load, say playing "full" if the speakers have less "Ohm" than the amplifier, in 99% of cases the amplifier will only turn off because modern constructions have protections.

Exactly. I forgot to add that the 6Ohm amplifier under the 8Ohm loudspeakers by all means.
