    I don't know about not being able to. The only problem is the active pfc + rectangle on the output because with these devices you will definitely not overload it with current. And none of them have pfc in the power supply.

    The strip usually has a varistor - as long as it is not triggered, there is no threat. The varistor, when the voltage increases, is designed to make a short circuit and burn the fuse / break the overcurrent circuit breaker. I do not know what he would do with the UPS, in the sense of how the UPS tolerates a short circuit at the output, I would give an ordinary extension cord or throw out the varistor.
