Hello. I have a problem for some time vag crashes me error egr excessive exhaust gas recirculation. I decided to dismantle egr. Unfortunately it was not possible to move it, a lot of carbon deposit. I bought a replacement engitech 250zl but there is a problem with the adaptation. You can hear it knocking but after a while error appears. Error 17812 which cannot be cleared. And after trying to adapt 17847, but this one can be deleted only when you try to adapt. I read a lot on the forums to best blind it, but apparently then you need to change something in the computer settings. Maybe someone knows the procedure what to do step by step. Please help.

He neither lit nor check or epc. However, today I had a longer route and the check lit up, unfortunately I lent a colleague vaga. Tomorrow I will write what the mistake was again. I would like to point out that the cables, candles, new NGK brands and the coil and module are new, some German company is not the cheapest

The reason for the latter errors may be poorly made EGR. It looks as if it shows a different position of the valve than it is at the moment. This will be seen in the measuring blocks.
Before you make adaptations, first clear the basic settings in channel 00 in adaptations. Engine temperature between 20 and 60 degrees, engine off, errors cleared.

This is how I didn't try. And you could more accurately describe to me how to do it because I don't have too much idea, I just started rummaging because I only paid for mechanics and they didn't help.

I will only add the example of such an engine on my example .... when I do the EGR adaptation, the engine tugs ... so the car drives all the time with an error but nothing on the board ... just such a copy ...

I can't solve this problem. All time error. When I do the test, it is both the old egr and the new knocking nicely but in any adaptation I can not drive and the car is terrible

I sold the car, I did not solve the problem and for the replacement I bought, I managed to regain money in the original, I did not invest because it costs over PLN 500. He was sold with a glimmer check

Topic summary

The user encountered excessive EGR errors and attempted to replace the EGR valve with an Engitech model, but faced adaptation issues and persistent error codes. Various responses suggest checking the EGR valve's position, clearing basic settings in the adaptation channel, and ensuring the engine is at the correct temperature during the adaptation process.
