Some time ago I noticed purple spots on the matrix. You can see them mainly on a light background. The TV is after warranty and the matrix has been replaced on the website after "clouding" appeared. This matrix has been secured with tape, and it is not possible to dust it. However, after less than a year, purple discoloration appeared in the picture. Once such a situation took place and it turned out that the reason was just behind the TV router. Now even if I turn off the router the spots are still visible. Is there anything else I can do about it?

Hmmm it looks like an uneven matrix illumination to my eye and my suggestion is the issue of capacitors or sometimes it does not affect the matrix backlighting or the fatigue of fluorescent lamps. Another thought is some stress on the matrix or sometimes it does not cause such color distortions. I note that this is just my suggestion and it would be good for someone to write what he thinks about it.

Fluorescent lamps are falling because I suggested a description and from the description of the model on websites it appears that it is LED and not LCD which appears in the description.

So eventually the diodes have already begun burning and emit a different color of light.
On the black you can also see such spots ??

No, it's not completely on a black background.
And sometimes something with led backlight is not okay. Maybe the LEDs change color ...

I have the same model and two weeks ago there were two spots in a similar arrangement (both shifted a little to the right). It is supposed to be responsible for the dust that got between the screen and the outer glass (?). Gymnastic screen with a suction cup did not help.

You have to undress the matrix, clean and wrap it in a circle.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the issue of persistent purple spots appearing on the Samsung UE40H6400 LCD TV after a matrix replacement due to previous clouding. Users suggest that the discoloration may be caused by uneven matrix illumination, faulty capacitors, or burnt LED diodes. One user mentions that dust between the screen and outer glass could be a contributing factor, while another suggests that the matrix needs to be disassembled and cleaned. The problem persists even after turning off the router, indicating that external interference may not be the cause. Overall, the consensus points towards potential hardware failures related to the LED backlighting system.
