    Where to start
    - so yes, I haven't decided yet whether the router itself or the router + ap
    - you will know the modem from the provider and from him twisted pair rj45 to my router
    - budget from 200 to 400 PLN

    1. WiFi Usage:
The most important thing is that, without failure / overheating, it should handle 3-4 computers at once + 4 phones via WiFi + in the future, a Netflix stream on an android box on TV (
    - here it looks like standard phones Facebook and websites, sometimes a 720p movie, Computers network games, 720p movies, and once in a while downloading at full speed
so the load will be quantitative rather than velocity

    2. Range:
The router will be placed in the center of a single-family house, but it must radio through the ceiling and one wall on the first floor. So far, the E5186s-22a has done well with me I have on LTE internet with play. Currently, there is a problem with the fact that it overheats with several devices connected to WiFi. Additionally, there will be no problem with a WiFi network conflict, because it will only be my network.

    3. Technology (Standard)
    Four WiFi computers 802.11 b / g / n 2.4 GHz and four telephones as well 802.11 b / g / n 2.4 GHz

    4. Router Software
I don't have any requirements here, I know English and I can use the documentation from producers, so I will definitely be able to handle it. If it is possible, I would really like the router to have this function:
    - in the event that someone turns on the download, so that other people have at least 2mb / s and that their ping in online games does not jump. Will QOS technology handle such a thing?

    final remarks:
    - the router can be large and ugly as long as it does not overheat
    - is this page up-to-date and can be followed?

    Seems slightly stale.
Since you know English, https://www.snbforums.com/ can be a mine of knowledge
In the range of PLN 200-400, it is difficult to find something worth recommending.

If you need a router with good range and 2.4Ghz only, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

The current equipment, legally, cannot have wifi power greater than 100 mW for 2.4 GHz and 200 mW for 5 GHz - is it enough to break through ceilings, floors, walls, I doubt it, and very much.

then maybe you can recommend an additional access point for this
ASUS RT-N18U up to PLN 120, although I wanted to stay below PLN 400 together

good since we have already explained that up to PLN 400 there is nothing worth recommending and nothing will guarantee good coverage through the ceiling and one wall, maybe I will find an answer to the question
Does the ASUS RT-N18U router have any competition or is the best in terms of durability and uptime at work with 4-6 wifi clients on 2.4 GHz

But you will have to connect this AP to Asus with a cable - do you know that?

How many people - so many opinions - as far as strictly the equipment is concerned, everyone agrees, equipment worth every zloty spent on it.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting a suitable router within a budget of 200-400 PLN, capable of supporting 3-4 PCs and 4 phones simultaneously, while also handling Netflix streaming and network gaming. The user is considering whether to purchase a standalone router or a router with an additional access point (AP). The ASUS RT-N18U is highlighted as a potential option due to its good range and performance, although concerns about its ability to penetrate ceilings and walls are raised. Recommendations for additional access points are sought, with a note that any AP would need to be connected via cable. The conversation emphasizes the importance of durability and uptime when managing multiple WiFi clients on the 2.4 GHz band.
