Hello everyone, I have a similar problem, the g4 phone takes a long time to charge, it was not like that before - 1.5 to 2 hours and from 20% to 100% charged, now it's even 4-5 hours. I used to use it with the charging turned on, now the battery level drops when the charging is turned on, and not in movies but browsing the net. The "ampere" program shows miracles from 20 to even 2300 mA. I have a KEWEISI usb meter that shows max 0.64A, interestingly: when I connect the cable to the phone and plug it into the socket, the meter shows 0.2A and when I first connect to the socket and then to the phone, the meter shows about 1A, previously it showed over 1.2- 1.6A. I changed the cable to the 1A charger cable but the same. As if that was not enough, the battery flies when using the browser. Maybe you have any ideas?

And how much is the warranty on the battery, the phone is 1.5 years old and is it possible to advertise on that basis. I checked what I wrote before - it is true that when I first connect the charger to the socket and then to the phone, it charges 1A and then first to the phone and then to the socket, it charges 0.2A, at least that's what the usb meter shows. Why is it like that?

First, battery replacement. Next, the usb socket. In your case, the socket is ok ???

If you have it under warranty, try to give it under warranty.

The socket probably works, if it charges somehow, the computer can see the phone, can you check something more?

After an e-mail conversation with the LG service, the phone was sent to the service.

Hello, the phone came back from the service after a week :D , battery, cable, charger checked - I got the test results, they replaced the touch panel. I close the topic.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing significant charging issues with their LG G4 smartphone, noting an increase in charging time from 1.5-2 hours to 4-5 hours. The user reports that the battery drains while browsing the internet, and measurements from a KEWEISI USB meter indicate low current levels, fluctuating between 0.2A and 1A. Responses suggest that the battery may need replacement, and warranty options should be explored since the phone is 1.5 years old. The user later confirmed sending the phone to LG service, which resulted in the replacement of the touch panel after testing the battery, cable, and charger.
