Hello !
As in the topic, I have a problem with the Ford Mondeo Mk4 1.8 TDCI.
It fires hard on a hot engine.
The computer diagnosis showed error P0087 (fuel pressure control valve), the pressure on the ramp during the warm start is from 1.5 to 2.5 bar, so in my opinion a little bit.
Fuel filter replaced, old very dirty.
Proven shaft position sensor resistance to hot and cold.
I suspect that the culprit is this fuel pressure sensor in the pump, but is there any way to confirm this diagnosis?
I would also like to add that after connecting the fuel system "briefly", i.e. bypassing the tank, wires, fuel filter, the car fires better.
