HELLO . I have a problem with the boxer 2.2 hdi 2005. namely, the car, after adding gas, goes into emergency mode and there is no strength, as long as the gas is added very gently, then you can enter 4,000. and even more revolutions and nothing happens, when it enters the emergency mode, I put it out, take out the key after a while, start it and just like I wrote above, of course, it fired without error !!

Connected to the computer, it probably shows - a damaged pressure sensor, the reading is out of range p0191 ---

I will add that in the morning, when firing for the first time after the night, I gas him almost that normally, a few moments longer than when he is already warmed up because then I press the gas harder once and the emergency mode but it's a lottery or it goes out or emergency mode and it goes evenly but up to 2300 revolutions and this everything, just put it out, fire up and so next to Matthias, I replaced the pressure sensor on the rail, the pump in the tank, and the fuel filter, no changes !!!! One more thing today, I fired it, I warmed it up until the radiator fans were turned on and then I turned it off, the fans were still running and I couldn't fire it until the fans were turned off, does it have anything to do with what is happening ?? I will add that it used to fire normally like vents. they were PLEASE HELP MAY SOMEONE ALREADY WORKED THIS PROBLEM OR KNOWS WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF SUCH PROBLEM I GREET TO EVERYONE

I do not know if it has to do with the whole thing, but for some time the car ran on the unplugged temperature sensor because on the road the sensor broke and the temperature showed full, so the car went out and you could not start it after disconnecting everything was flashing, of course, the temperature did not show, but it was cold so it was not nothing to worry about so I did about 3,000 km, then everything that was mentioned above was done and I am just mentioning the temperature sensor, of course, it was also replaced with all the previously mentioned parts.

The first items to check are EGR. I had a similar situation with 2.0 hdi. After slightly adding the gas, the car drove normally, when pressing the accelerator pedal all the way threw an error. Cleaning the EGR helped. You can let go of all elements such as the fuel pump and the entire fuel supply system (e.g. filters) because it is probably not a question of it. One of the valves is stuck the fastest. Possibly no tightness under vacuum. Start with EGR. Disconnect and rate changes. And check the flow meter.

    Check injections for transfers.

thanks for the answer, but I think that the error p0191 is a problem with the fuel pressure and the EGR has nothing to do with it and the flow meter has unfastened any changes

error like the p0191 sensor, i.e. the pressure in general, but I wonder if this temperature sensor has something to do with it, if I unplugged it and a few kilometers were made on it, or not it can be that the ECU has a problem with the reading, but probably another error, but theoretically if the sensor not very compatible with the ECU, such things can happen and can the sensor be matched to the ECU ??????

connected to Lex, it showed the same fuel sensor error, the reading is outside the range of p0191 in the parameters, it looks like it has too high pressure on the rail, what could be the reason ???

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2005 Boxer 2.2 HDI experiencing a loss of power and entering emergency mode, indicated by the P0191 error related to the fuel pressure sensor. Users suggest checking the EGR valve, fuel supply system, and flow meter as potential causes. The original poster believes the issue is specifically with the fuel pressure sensor, noting that the readings are out of range. They also inquire about the compatibility of the temperature sensor with the ECU and whether it could affect readings. Further diagnostics indicate high pressure on the rail, prompting questions about possible underlying issues.
