Hello, I have trouble with the car. Namely, I do not know what is going on and by giving to the mechanic I would like to reach your opinion. Auto Hyundai Coupe GK 2.0 CVVT 2005 I'm running away with a coolant at a speed of 200ml per 100km, before that the engine burned 0.2l per 1000km and now I do not have to add hmm ... The temperature gauge should probably constantly indicate a constant temperature after heating and I have deviations on a scale of 2mm. depending on whether they are standing or going. I thought maybe it was a gasket under the head because under the car it is dry and nothing drips. The car gently jerks on white and the engine does not look like much. I purchased a tester for detection in the exhaust gas cooling system, but after 25 minutes. on the warm engine he does not react, so I do not play anything here. After attaching it to the exhaust pipe, it changed color after a while. Is it possible to damage not only the gasket but also the head, crack it? It seems to me that the exhaust gas should get into the cooling system and the pressure should increase in proportion to the engine speed.

Symptoms of damage to the head gasket can be: liquid in oil - after removing the bayonet the oil looks like a white emulsion, oil in the reservoir of fluid or the passage of combustion gases and pressure from the combustion chamber to zb. fluid which causes the pressure in the cooling system to rise. If the tester did not detect the exhaust gases in the liquid, they probably are not there. Look for leaks in the system, maybe the fluid leaks only while driving.

Also look at the radiator. It can run from it and evaporate, so you do not have plans under the car.

    Sorry for delay in time.

GT_194 I do not have anything on the bay, I can not see anything. Under the oil stop after 20km. I have something like this, and I do 5 days a week, 2x20 km. In the morning, it seems to me that I am strongly kicking white at idle for the first ~ 6km. After unscrewing the radiator plug and gasping on the hot engine, you can not see the air bubbles. Damaged Gasket or Cracked Head? - Disappearing Coolant in Hyundai Coupe GK 2.0 CVVT 2005 It would have to leak out while driving, but from where it drips.

rybatb3 I was slightly started to steer the radiator today from the top as if it were unsealed. But it does not solve the white-tailed breathing out of the morning.

mn997 I do not have the option to drain the oil. I've seen somewhere that there is a way to detect the coolant in the oil by heating it, the oil itself reacts differently to high temperatures than the mixture.
