    Hello,
    I have been fighting this wonderful device for some time and I finally gave up. I will describe what and how. It started with damaged bearings - I cut the drum, replaced the bearings, glued, put it together. It turned out that the grinding of the balls caused a blockage of the drum and damage to the inverter - I replaced the D8 bridge and all transistors from the inverter - I had to remove the heat sink and replace everything and Start.

    It works, but the descaling of the heater did not affect it well and the linden - it burned beautifully and a flower in the center grew. By the way of damaging the triacs Q58 and Q32 - replaced, new heater. Folded washing machine - start of the first wash and fun! It works and the heater heats up, the engine spins - wow! The wife is happily hanging around having the bowl ready to take the laundry to the attic, and here the meatball.

    She began to collect water at the end of the main wash - I heard a strange sound - darkness. No power response. I replaced again Q58 , but now additionally the washing machine after connecting the power supply immediately opens the solenoid valves and draws water, and after a while the Christmas tree on the display and error F15 .

    Help, I have no patience with her anymore, and panties off the shelf are getting depleted and in a moment I will have to go buy a new washing machine if I don't run this damn thing. Dear colleagues, have any suggestions?

    Hello
    :arrow: Olaf and how did you solve the problem? I have the same mistake F15 only that my washing machine does nothing (nothing at all) ..
    After connecting the power, nothing happens, after clicking the POWER button (the first from the left) only the fourth line on the spin speed indicator flashes 7-8 times. If I turn the programmer to a program, it immediately displays the error "F15" and total silence.

    On the motherboard (the one on the bottom left of the washing machine) - I replaced the capacitors and the TNY converter that sits there - marked with red lines. After connecting it is exactly the same ...

    F15 - open heating heating circuit - i.e. continuous supply of the drying heater, in order to protect the heater the power supply is cut off on the module

    :arrow: Mrice what drying heater is this only a washing machine - was it a water heating heater? If so, which element is responsible for it, because now I have lost my mind.

    He should report errors for the water heating heater F03 or F08 , however, to be sure enter the service number 807xxxxx so I will check exactly for this model. Until now, F15 has always been associated with a dryer heater.

    AQD 1070D - these are clearly washer-dryers (drying button - bottom left) among those surrounding the central display. I refer to the instruction manual on how to start drying. As for error F15, a colleague is right mrice .

    F15 - Faulty drying heater relay (only for washing machines with drying)

    The module must be connected to a computer and check what hurts it. Indesit / Ariston has it that it does not always provide the correct error code strictly related to the failure
    or rip the contents of the memory - we'll see what hurts it. The Christmas tree on the panel is disturbing.

    For me, the same, after turning on the F15 program and continuous water intake. What I checked, I measured that the dryer heater has a break, and after disconnecting the cables from it, the same effects continue. Does this mean there is still a short circuit in the controller? If I connect a working heater, is there a chance that it will start? The second thing is the hydrostat, I blow into it nothing is happening, I suck in air, it jumps. Is this correct operation? Should it be the other way around and maybe this is the reason it is constantly drawing water?

    That's very simplified, assuming that F15 is the correct error code:

    - Check the efficiency of the corresponding contacts on the plate-side connector;
    - Check on the drying heater connector (1500W / 230V) that the resistance value between pins 1 and 2 is approx. 36 ?;
    - Check the efficiency of the J012 (collector) or J13 (three-phase) connector contacts on the board;
    - Check the dispersion between the two wires and ground, it should not be lower than 2 M?;
    - Check the efficiency of the drain pump contacts on the board;
    - Check on the drain pump connector (pins 4 and 5 in the case of a traditional door lock) that the pump is connected continuously and that the resistance value is 170 ? +/- 10%;
    - Check the wiring of the drain pump;
    - Check the connectors and wiring of the solenoid valve;
    - Replace the drain pump;
    - Replace the drying heater;
    - Replace the faulty solenoid valve;
    - Replace the main board.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Ariston AQD1070D washing machine, specifically addressing the F15 error code, which indicates an issue with the heating circuit. Users report various symptoms, including continuous water intake and failure to operate after power connection. Solutions proposed include checking the drying heater, inspecting the motherboard for faults, and verifying the functionality of various components such as the drain pump, solenoid valve, and hydrostat. The consensus is that the F15 error may relate to a faulty drying heater relay or issues within the control board, necessitating thorough diagnostics and potential component replacements.
