The computer is stuck at the game. A friend clicked Ctrl + Alt + Delete, on the screen that appeared she chose "switch user". After logging out, she tried to log in again, but receives a message that the password is incorrect. On the login screen there is no way to switch the user, except that what he remembers has only one. We have already tried to turn off and turn on the computer, we checked Caps Lock, but she still has a password view and is 100% sure that she is entering the correct one. What is it and how do I do it to login.

Since he rejects it rather incorrect.
Have you tried to remove the password through the hidden administrator account?

Unfortunately not. And how to do it?

Shut down the OS twice during startup by holding down the POWER button.
You should turn on the recovery menu. Once there, you will enter the console.

The recovery menu does not appear and the computer normally turns on every time.

And what is this computer? Laptop? Should I guess? Usually by holding power for 5-7 seconds. the computer should shut down. You start holding from the moment when something appears on the screen.
If it fails, the disc remains.

This is an Asus laptop. Maybe the operating system is somehow different? Switching on and off nothing changes with the power button. It is possible that the files have become corrupted in the system and therefore write that the password is incorrect when logging in.
On win 10 this is apparently sometimes the case. As a last resort this album will probably be needed.

In this case, it's not just about turning off the system. Turn off the system "on brute" by holding down the power button until the laptop turns off.

As he wrote above @ tronic1 , why do you think I wrote about holding a button?
You have a computer emergency shut down from the very beginning during turning on system.
This way, it has been turned off twice halfway turning on the system will let you into the desired menu. In other words, you have to do it "for brute".
We know that the advice looks unprofessional, but how else to get where we want, since the system manufacturer has blocked himself from pressing F8 to start, what do we know of previous versions of his systems?
