    Hello,

Does anyone have drivers for Lenovo IdeaPad 510-15ISK for Windows 7 64x?
Unfortunately, the manufacturer on the website only provides versions for Windows 10.
There are rumors that they used to support Windows 7 and the drivers exist, but I haven't been able to download them anywhere.

Nothing works for me at the moment.
USB, screen dimming and brightening, Wi-Fi and all the rest

    Welcome.
You could go the minimum effort and read a few topics in this section :) You would know then that if you want drivers, you should provide the identifiers of these devices - so that people who do not have your laptop exactly will be able to help you somehow. Laptops consist of various parts (and the 510-15ISK models themselves are probably several / a dozen hardware configurations).

Now that you know these things - enter the identifiers of devices for which you do not have drivers. You will find them in the device manager -> https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic1228905.html

Thank you for the link, it was very useful.
It turns out that the drivers from 700-17ISK are compatible with mine, USB and Wi-Fi already work.
I hope the rest will be installed as well :)

    EDIT:

Everything is now working except for controlling the screen brightness from the keyboard.
    Maybe someone will have drivers.
    Hardware ID:
    ACPI \ MSFT0001
    * MSFT0001

Other "extra" keys like stopping the movie or the volume level are working.

I installed the keyboard drivers but it didn't help.
In the device manager I still have one unknown device identifying:
    "5425BAE1-FDEE-4761-BB5E-14706E8DC386"

I suspect there might be a dog buried here.
After typing this in google this page popped up: http://www.driverhive.com/driverdetails.aspx?m=Lenovo&d=Fn+and+function+keys
But it looks suspicious because instead of the driver, it tells me to download an exe file.

These drivers may not work with your computer. Click the link below to download, scan and obtain the correct drivers - have you used this option too?

That's how I downloaded this Driver Identifier, I search for everything nicely, but unfortunately for Windows 7 they are not available in the database.

For the time being, I downloaded a program called "click monitor ddc" and set the keyboard shortcuts so that I can dim / brighten the matrix.
Unfortunately, out of spite it is impossible to set the "f10" and "f11" keys, which by default are intended for this purpose.

    edit:
It turned out that when I set "hotkeys" in BIOS to disable, I managed to assign "f10" and "f11" to shortcuts including "click monitor ddc".
So it's good, almost like the factory, but still I'm unsatisfied that this application must run in the background.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the search for Windows 7 64-bit drivers for the Lenovo IdeaPad 510-15ISK, as the official Lenovo website only provides drivers for Windows 10. Users are encouraged to provide device identifiers to assist in locating the correct drivers. A helpful link to drivers for the 700-17ISK model was shared, which proved compatible for USB and Wi-Fi functionality. However, issues remain with screen brightness control, identified by the hardware ID ACPIMSFT0001. Various suggestions were made, including using Driver Identifier and alternative software for brightness control, but challenges persist in finding specific drivers for Windows 7.
