You need to position the gasket well and tighten the siphon. Simple enough for someone who has done something like that before. For what purpose was the siphon removed?

The water drained slowly. After analyzing it, I discovered that the screw in that grate in the bathtub had loosened and it was not holding the seal. I tightened and everything is fine
