I have an older lenovo t440 laptop without an hdmi port, there is a mini display port. I am thinking of connecting my laptop to the TV via a wireless connection. And I have a question, how to do it most simply? I thought about miracast, but can a regular TV without a smart TV and without a network card be connected with hdmi and usb? and if the laptop connects to miracast is it a wifi connection? so that I will not connect to wi fi to have internet to watch movies from the net ??
