I bought two displays from China factory assembled with frames.

Both have the following problem: when the phone is held with one hand and tries to pan / scroll the screen to the left (i.e. left to right movement of the thumb pad), the touch does not respond at all, or it responds the tenth time - literally.

When I hold the phone with both hands, the problem does not occur.

It is definitely not the fault of the motherboard, because I checked on both phones and it is the same on both

    I recorded a video below:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTe98LDtTsA&feature=youtu.be

Is it my fault or the displays are clearly for complaint?

Displays to be returned, do not buy those in frames because they come off later

    Thanks

Where would you suggest to buy? On the Allegro only Krzymark looks reasonable when it comes to the display for this model

    (others are 96% positive) ...

I have exactly the same thing, the screen started to peel off, it's a pity to talk.

As I understand it, there will be no problem with the return since the fault is evident. On aliexpress they play heavily on the customer, so it should be ok with acknowledgment of the dispute I assumed. I added a description along with a video

The problem begins when a dispute can no longer be opened ;) And so always either the seller will return or just the same

But I have already opened a dispute :D
If someone has a link to an auction where I could buy a functional display, I would be grateful
Today Krzymark looks the best - a lot of positives with a relatively small number of negatives

I recommend the Krzymark company, there was never a problem with them.

I got a reply from ali that I was to show the complete LCD installation on video. So far I have sent them with the motherboard and battery connected and it is not enough for them.

Only now I have a problem - if I have to record the complete installation, I have to tear off the red protective tapes from the frame received from the seller. Can I have a problem with the return afterwards?

They offered me a return to the seller at my expense (shipping price to China - PLN 70) - what side should I pay for the seller's error, which sends three pieces of left displays that do not meet the basic functions?

I would be grateful for a suggestion on what to do about this. They gave me 3 days ...

You can send back by registered priority mail, it will be about PLN 25 from what I remember. Record how you connect the other one you bought and then the one from them and that it does not work.

    I have the following problem:

The displays from Krzymark work perfectly. However, there must be something wrong with the motherboard. I have two P9s:

in one of them, the phone turns on after pressing power on and vibrates, but no image appears on the display.

I thought it was a display problem, but I connected this LCD to a second one and the image is displayed very correctly.

The part of the motherboard that I marked in red in the attachment becomes very warm after 5 seconds, and even hot after a minute. I cleaned the entire Cleanser motherboard with print (isopropanol), applied a new thermal grease and the symptom is the same - the phone turns on, but there is no picture.

I also cleaned the contacts on the motherboard from the connector to which the IPA display plugs.

What could it be ? Thanks in advance...

    SECOND PROBLEM

I am begging you for help what's going on .... This is a catastrophe and total hopelessness. First, I was taking Allegro displays from GSM_Parts and the problem was the same as in the first post. Then came the arts from aliexpress - the same.

Eventually, for the third time, I took the LCD from Krzymark and the problem IS THE SAME.

I don't understand it at all what this is about ? Do I have any crooked fingers / my skin has degenerated that such circuses are happening?

When I hold the phone with my right hand and scroll from right to left (i.e. the display scrolls to the right) - no problem. When I scroll with the same right hand from left to right (ie I want the menu windows to move to the left - the display / touch does not respond, but when I change my hand to the LEFT hand, the problem is the opposite.

    MIRACLES ON KIEJ.

What this is about?!?!?!?!!?! I feel like I'm banging my head against the wall, $$ are flying, and the problem is not solved ... I wasted a lot of time on it ....

    Video: :

Please help me VERY MUCH - I lost two months of time and a lot of money trying to solve this .... three different salespeople and the same problem ... Whatt the fu .... ## ck ...?

Look at the glue-drenched parts above the LCD connector, the extreme ones in the upper right corner are responsible for the touch. Watch it under a microscope, it can be easily damaged by improper disassembly.

Are you talking about the motherboard?

Yes, there are elements responsible for e.g. for the touch.

But there is immediately a large metal plate / cover above the display connector
Ps. The problem is the same on the second motherboard ...

Sorry plustek, but you're wrong. There is a metal casing above the LCD connector. It is very difficult to damage it, especially since I operate with spudgers and I do not force anything.

The original compact display is like a dream. The problem was with Chinese substitutes. Three different sellers, yet each acted the same.

The touch works great on the original ...

Does anyone have a link to some display replacements for P9 what to avoid such circuses?
Alternatively, how much does it cost to replace the glass in the original broken display?

Hello. I have another problem. I replaced the display and colored stripes appear in the left corner, you cannot scroll from top to bottom.
Best regards and thanks for all the info.

I have the same problem in my P9 after replacement, I ordered a lcd from Bydgoszcz. It's maybe not as bothersome as u mst16222 , but apart from that, I noticed that the "knuckle" functions, such as screen after double-tapping, do not work.

    The original works perfectly

    Replacements as above.

Apparently, there are no efficient replacements for this model
