    Hello,

I got the Huawei P9 with a damaged screen for repair.
I bought an LCD without a frame and pasted it onto the B7000 in an old frame. The whole panel, both before and after gluing, works flawlessly - the phone starts, the touch works without any problem.
The problem appeared when placing the entire device in the back cover. Well, when inserting the phone into the housing and pressing the power, volume up / down buttons around the screen turns off completely - actually the entire phone turns off and does not respond to the charger, power, power + volume up / down. The buttons normally push in.

Several times I took out and put the phone in various ways to no avail.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

do you need to have a short circuit somewhere no tape has broken off? does the screw not cause a short circuit?

Look carefully at these areas, there is probably a short circuit and sometimes it is enough to isolate with a piece of tape.

I looked through the entire phone and found a puncture on the antenna cable. It has slightly improved, but the phone still turns off.

Below is a photo. Maybe a more experienced eye will see what I did wrong there? :)

    EDIT:

    I did. :)
While peeling off the battery, I damaged its first layer of the cover. When pressing the housing in the battery apparently something "jumped" and lost its voltage (I checked by pressing with my finger). It was enough to cover it with insulation and it works. Shock test done.

    Thanks for the help!
