    Hello.

I would like to burn Lichtenberg figures in wood.

I got a transformer from the microwave with the designation TAR-220att, I would like to know which leads to connect to the board because when connecting the secondary windings nothing happened, the transformer is OK.

It may be to connect a capacitor in series or in parallel to the HV windings or it is connected with 3 lead which has a resistance of about 220 Ohm to the base of the transformer.

I am asking for some advice

Do not negate the idea by posts like give it a rest because there is about 2kv if you do such things with your head with appropriate security measures, you can rather work with HV.

I think your problem is that the board has too much resistance. You need to moisten the board with a suitable solution. Here's a video: http: //elektrykapradnietyka.com/18927/zrob-to-sam-figura-lichtenberga/

I moistened the wood with salty water, there was little water that evaporated in the process, even when the wood was dry, the salt remained and the process went on.
