    Hello,

a long time ago (in 2013?) I had a cdif-2 moment in my hands and it was rather clunky, Toyota was doing very poorly.

What does it look like now (compared to others, e.g. gutmann), are there any users who work on it on a daily basis?

Thanks for all the opinions, because you can't find anything on the internet.

    greetings

It's cool in this money, it's worth it, Japan has improved a little, Europe is ok, in addition, as cdif 3 is for wifi, and the colorful adapters have fallen out as a universal enough

For this money, believe me, CDIF3 is already available and what to look for if you have everything described on the manufacturer's website https://www.cdif3.com/?section=/aktualnosci, Gutman and subscription are a gap in relation to this equipment what do you ask.

I used to have Cdif / 2 and unfortunately it was terribly leaky - almost every day there was something to check that he did not do (mainly newer cars) and old lumber can be diagnosed with just anything .. At the end of last year I bought a delphi ds150e (5700 gross) and compared to it is a gulf in favor of delphi of course .. If Axes approach is like it used to be, I do not recommend it ..

    I have a current subscription.

The equipment is cool, as a universal tester in this money I rate it at 4 + / 5.

I also have a 3rd version. Overall good equipment. Just what the Subaru had modestly but so ok.

We are talking about the present, it used to be, now there is CDIF3 (no 3 adapters and other problems) as for Delfaj for PLN 5700, you forgot to add that on the day of purchase you do not have the update in this money for a year, you only have to buy it for about PLN 3500 ;-)

Maybe I have unnecessarily left some trauma to this equipment, but the fact is that we demand more and more from universals and unfortunately they will never jump to the factory ones ...

Hello, I am also thinking about Cdif3, so far I had gutmann but by 42 the update is over, so I was offered the Cdif lug of gutmann 42se almost 2x more expensive.
How is this Cdif dealing with Japanese, French, American?
Are you coding, adaptations, firing etc? The functions are known in the list, but they come to perform and the equipment sometimes refuses to obey :)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the CDIF-3 diagnostic tool, comparing it to the previous CDIF-2 model and the Gutmann system. Users express mixed experiences, noting improvements in the CDIF-3, particularly in its universal capabilities and Wi-Fi functionality. Some users find it a good value for money, rating it positively, while others highlight limitations, especially in diagnosing newer vehicles compared to competitors like Delphi DS150E. Concerns about software updates and functionality for various car brands, including Japanese, French, and American models, are also raised, with users questioning the tool's reliability in performing advanced functions such as coding and adaptations.
