I want to mount the parking sensors to the rear with the buzzer mounted in the back. And a separate set with buzzer on the front. Front bumper fitted at the front. Yes, I had a factory in Zafira, it worked great.

Well, now I've combed allegro and sets for 4 sensors do not have the option of mounting to the front. Those sets that have 8 sensors that can be triggered by front sensors are most often a signal from pressing the brake and work for 30s. Rear sensors are triggered backwards - we know. And now I wonder if you can mount those sensors that are dedicated to the rear and instead of the rear light simply connect the ignition signal. Instead of 30s / 5min (estimated average braking frequency during normal driving), instead of 30s / 5min they will work all the time, because they will have the signal all the time.

Is this a good idea, or can it necessarily mount some system that will trigger the sensor and maintain the 30s signal from pressing the stop?

Or maybe you have another patent?

In Zafira you had after the reverse or with the (P) button why not make the back and front joint or with a separate button (together or just the front)

I thought about it too, but I don't know if the control panel and sensors will endure continuous emissions. however, reverse runs only occasionally.
In addition, rain, mud or other debris while driving could cause false alarms - as sometimes happens with sensors in the back.
And squeaking in the city - when driving, rather not conducive to focus.

I would have thought about coupling sensors with one - maybe it would be possible to install the sensor in the vicinity of the jack.

I don't know how your gear shift jack lasts for you, but with quite a tight one, I would be tempted to install the contactor turned on in the lever position in 1st gear. On other fast runs, you will probably not need any signaling, but this your way would also work.
https://elecena.pl/search?q=20x10x6 something with a longer elastic plate could do reverse and first gear when they are in the same position. http://www.podlokietniki-samochodowe.pl/wymiana-zarowek-xenony-opel-astra-III/911110.jpg

After all, the signal can be taken from the sensor on the gearbox or reverse bulb

In Zafira B (2014 year), it was factory assembled. No buttons, nothing, nothing, nothing. Just when I was driving backwards, it squeaked in the back (if the path was approaching), and when I was driving backwards and I turned the wheels too much, it sometimes squeaked in front of me - it is immediately obvious that you need to see to the front. As I once had with a display in Doblo, the effect was that the display was not looked at all, because you looked back / forward ... So only the buzzer is right to be apart and separately to the back, separately to the front.

One of the sellers answered the question of how to activate the sensors when driving forward and the answer "The sensor is active always when the power is connected." Maybe I will decide on this set. 39.99 + 8.99 for shipping. I will think about it until the morning, I will not install any additional contactors, this is a new Kia Carens, service, I negotiated the sensors rear, front, and the dealer assembling everything for free, if I deliver components and probably spend the private 50zeta, I will have fronts. ;-)

But maybe someone else will advise something.

I was still thinking about this aluminum tape - an electromagnetic sensor, but I'm afraid that the service may not want to take off the bumper and cut some reinforcements so that it is nicely distributed and let me spartolize it. And it worries me that if the vehicle does not move, the sensor stops working, parking near the pole may not be able to react, and the ultrasounds will always beep.

Zafira I drive myself and I also have parktronic

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the installation of rear parking sensors on a vehicle, with the intention of also mounting a separate set of sensors at the front. The user seeks to understand if rear sensors can be modified to trigger continuously using an ignition signal instead of the standard reverse light signal. Concerns are raised about the potential for false alarms due to environmental factors and the feasibility of continuous operation of the sensors. Suggestions include using a control panel or a contactor linked to the gear shift to manage sensor activation. The user references their previous experience with a factory-installed system in a Zafira, which operated effectively without additional buttons. The conversation highlights the need for a reliable triggering mechanism for both front and rear sensors while considering practical installation challenges.
