Hello everyone! (if the topic is suitable for another forum, please admin)

I have a problem with a BT paired phone for the factory handsfree system in the RNS510 navigation kit in my Passat. Telephone connected, all calls go: both calls and SMS via car. The quality of calls is great.

There is one problem: when connecting / pairing, i.e. every time I am in the car with the phone in my pocket, the phone 'loses' the SIM card in favor of the car (the phone display shows: no sim card / inactive card). I know that this is because the SIM card is remotely rented for the car kit. The phone address book, etc. is then available from the car navigation level.

However, I do not have internet access from my phone. There is no 'data transmission' in the phone. No Whatsup or Messenger messengers work.

Is there a way to work around this? That I could call through the car kit while driving but at the same time have access to the Internet / data transfer on the phone?

I will be grateful for the hints!

The connection method is guilty, search in bluetooth configuration - first on the phone side, maybe on the radio there are options to choose how to treat the connected device. Look for such settings so that the phone is connected, e.g. as an audio set - then only the conversation goes on bluetooth.

if you want to have an SMS reading on the navigation, the phone must be connected after PREMIUM. Then, depending on BT, you can activate HostSpot in the car and connect to BT by phone via WiFi.
a little about - but it works

otherwise, turn off the PREMIUM in the phone settings and now

    Hello!
Here is the solution to the puzzle: you should pair the phone with the car via BT, say on 'level 1', i.e. without sharing the contact book from the telephone (it's level 2). So we don't provide the SIM card PIN. Then everything flashes including the internet on the phone. The car behaves like a loudspeaker and an external microphone. We do not only have a phone address book and call list in car navigation. Enough for me.

Greetings to everyone and thanks for the advice!
